I found nothing that was bamboo-derived AND with 18" deep pockets until these. They are amazing... - Silky soft - Cool to the touch and do not make you sweat - Only wrinkle if they are left in a ball on the bed, or in the dryer too long.. (but will unwrinkle easily on air-dry setting) - No strong odor when they arrived and have held up without snags, or damages for months. Now about to purchase my second set as a backup!

I've never owned anything woven of bamboo fibers before these sheets, and didn't really know what to expect. I LOVE THEM. They are awesome in a number of ways: 1. The feel on your skin is incredible. Smooth and silky, but not in the "slick" way that satin or actual silk is. 2. Weight. Somehow, while feeling light and cool in terms of how they breath, they have a significant weight to them, which I find just incredibly soothing and comforting. 3. Cool. They remain cool to the touch in a fantastic way. I'm a hot sleeper, (flannel sheets would make me combust) and these sheets just feel amazing. They really seem to breath, and they consistently feel cool and inviting. 4. Corner pockets on these sheets are the DEEPEST and most gripping that I've ever owned. I have a Cal King bed, with the double pillow top, so that sucker is THICK. The pockets of this fitted sheet goes WAY under and the edges of the sheet slide way under the mattress as well, making them stay in place better than any set of sheets I've ever owned, and I've owned some $300+ sheets before. I'll put these up against any high-thread-count fancy sheet on the market. If you're thinking about buying these sheets, I suggest that you do. They far surpassed my hopes for them. I love them, and ordered a second set just a few weeks after the first. Now, I will admit, that I haven't owned them long enough to attest to long-term-durability, but they appear to be very well made, and the fabric seems very sturdy, so I anticipate enjoying them for years to come.

The feel of these is a good middle ground; they keep you fairly cool, but aren't super slippery like some bamboo sheets are. The oversized fit makes it so they don't constantly pop off my mattress. But, my husband sweats a lot over night no matter what, and the pillow cases stain badly wherever skin touches, so we have huge oily looking yellow spots on the beige fabric after 3-4 days. It washes out mostly, but it's unattractive. I did just buy a second set though, if that says anything.

Warning, this review is TMI If you are a hot sleeper continue reading, everyone else; you won't understand. I am a hot sleeper. I was beyond frustrated at finding myself in a puddle sweat every night, even with the temperature in the house set to a low temperature. For anyone who's found the meme that reads "if you keep your AC higher than 75 don't invite me to your terrarium, you lizard" and "if you keep your AC lower than 70 don't invite me to your morgue, you corpse"; I'm the corpse, my spouse is the lizard. I've tried sheet after sheet and pillow after pillow claiming to be "cooling", often to find it worse than the sheets/pillows we already owned. One sheet set finally seemed to be better, but not much better, but it started pilling after only a week of use. FINALLY I find these sheets! When I first received them I was nervous. I had read about bamboo and was determined to get truly bambo sheets. Some others I tried seemed to feel like there was still some plastic or other non breathable material. So when these showed up and felt silky I was nervous to try them. But I washed them anyway and put them on the bed. Since they're meant to fit a regular king and California king, it's not a snug fit, but it does handle a deep mattress with no issues. Night came and the sheets felt soft and cold. I only hoped to see if that would continue once the oven inside my body started it's thing. For the first time ever, I wasn't sweaty. These sheets truly are breathable. I sometimes wake up in the night and will pull the comforter off me and use only the sheet. I can still feel some of the air for our overhead fan. I love these sheets and bought a second set. We've had them for over a month and no pilling. Also I did replace our mattress cover, again making sure to but bamboo and ensure the cover does not have any non breathable materials. The two cons would be that the sheets practically wrinkle if you look at them, but personally I could not care less. And second, the dark grey ones do seem to show your body oils and sebum pretty quickly. I know some folks probably find that gross, but with my desperation to find breathable sheets, that is not a concern for us. I've had plenty of practice washing those natural oils out of sheets over the years.

A good friend told my wife and I about these sheets over dinner and we immediately ordered them. Shipping was great and we have used them for 3 nights. These are the most comfortable and cool sheets we have ever had. We have spent a lot of money on high thread count sheets throughout the years and these for now are the best, I just hope they last.

When I like about these sheets is the deep pocket for the fitted sheet. Hard to find. I have a 21 inch mattress with the topper and it fits well. They are soft. But they are very thin. The top sheet wraps around you instead of letting you move around freely. They wrinkle. They are not horrible. If you're looking for deep pockets they are good. They are soft. So there are good points but I still have to give it a three instead of a four because of how thin they are
