My qualifications: I grew up in a stickler of a household where we used linen and duvets and real down comforters (that I have since inherited, wahoo). I can fold a fitted sheet beautifully and am an expert of all different types of pillow cases. I fr know good linens. My review: I am actually very impressed by these sheets. I took a chance on them with the weird brand name and 4.2-ish stars and am glad I did. Absolutely worth the price (which is perfectly appropriate, if not low for Cal King sheets). Just ordered another set for our Queen guest bed! Major points: First, They HAVE! NOT! STRETCHED! They are sitting as firmly on the mattress as the day I made the bed with them. There is absolutely none of that weird bagginess that happens with cheaper sheets after 2-3 nights. The weight of the sheets is solid too, without too much air annoyingly getting trapped underneath the flat sheet while making the bed. The size also is completely accurate to a Cal King mattress, though I have a name-brand foam mattress of some sort and will say the fit was tight (in case you have a firmer mattress, do some light lifting while you wait for them to arrive). Next, the texture is ever-so-slightly scratchy but in the nice hotel sheets kind of way, not itchy or shiny smooth like the comparable sheet sets you get for 29.99 from TJ Maxx. They feel like quality and are very comfortable for hot sleepers in my opinion. They feel breathable. For color, the dark green is just divine. They look so stylish and are pleasing to the eye. My set at least was perfectly comparable to the advertised picture.

Pros: As described, 400 thread count is just right, Soft enough for me, Excellent sleep quality nice and cool, Bottom sheet has plenty of room and fits well, Tag says 100% cotton, On bottom sheet is on left side and right side on top sheet, Easy to wash, Great price, come with zippered clear pouch that can be used for storing sheet when not in use. Cons: Slight processing ordor that came out easily in first wash, wrinkles (like the crinkle fabric from the 80's that was popular) smoothed out nicely on bed, Tags say 100% cotton but do not say the size, so you will have to keep track of your sheets if you have different size beds in your home. Yes I'd buy these again and recommend to friends and famly, I've already bought two sets. bdv

Finally! A deep pocket fitted sheet that fits my 15" mattress plus 3" foam topper!! 18", so -called "deep" pocket sheets have never stayed on my mattress. This one truly does, with plenty of extra coverage. It goes way under the mattress and has a heavy duty elastic binding around the whole sheet. It feels like it will last a long time. No more elastic straps needed to hold the bottom sheet in place. Yay!! (they didn't work well anyway) One thing I did find odd: the bottom sheet I got had a seam down one side. I've never seen that before. Maybe it's there to allow for the extra depth or maybe I got a sheet from the end of the run and they had to add extra fabric to be able to make one more king size sheet. I'll never know unless someone else mentions it in their review. But the seam is very well finished (is it called a french seam?) and doesn't look like it will wear out. Other reviewers mentioned that the top sheet and pillow cases are skimpy. I agree about the top sheet-it seems like it should probably be 8-12 inches longer to accommodate the thick mattresses these sheets were supposedly made for. Kind of strange that the designers/manufacturers didn't think of this!! The pillow cases are fine BUT there are only 2 of them. I didn't think of this when I bought this because all the sets I've bought recently came with 4 pillowcases. I'm thinking most king size beds these days have 4 pillows on them. Some reviewers said the sheets are scratchy. I wouldn't say that but they are a little coarse-they don't have a smooth finish. All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase. My main "ask" was for a fitted bottom sheet that really fit and I got that.

Nice sheets! The deep pockets are actually deep- no more fitted sheet coming loose. Color is bold so it probably depends on your decor. But I like that they are all cotton. And they were a good price.

What’s good: 1) deep pockets are accurately described, and the fitted sheet fits the pillow-top mattress really well. 2) the navy color is beautiful- really a deep navy with a cooler undertone What’s bad: 1) whoever made the fitted sheet forgot to tell whoever made the top sheet; it is 4-6” too narrow for a pillow-top mattress, 2) these are very, very scratchy and thin! Really they are not comfortable sheets to lay on.

When we added a three-inch mattress topper to our king bed, I never expected I would have a hard time finding sheets that fit. The depth of the mattress plus topper is a bit less than 17 inches. I tried two different sheet sets that claimed to have a pocket depth up to 18 inches. In both cases, I could get the corners on, but there wasn’t enough fabric to tuck under the sides or the top and bottom. In December 2020, I bought a microfiber king sheet set that claimed it was for mattresses 18-24 inches deep. The sheets fit fine, are very soft, are always full of static and are very warm in the summer. In July 2022 after one too many hot nights, I started my search for cotton sheets that had a very deep pocket, and found the HYPREST Extra Deep Pocket King Sheet Set in dark gray. The fitted sheet easily covers our mattress and mattress pad, and there is plenty of fabric to tuck in on both sides and the top and bottom. The fitted sheet is not made from a single piece of fabric. There is a seam where one side of the fitted sheet meets the top of the sheet. When the sheet is on the bed, the seam is almost invisible at the edge of the mattress. Though the description on Amazon says the sheets are smooth to touch and soft, I think they are scratchy and a bit rough to touch -- even after seven washings. When I fold the sheets, I can actually hear a scratchy/crinkly sound. It’s not like I’m folding a plastic drop cloth, but there is definitely a noticeable sound. Since these cotton sheets are much cooler and more comfortable in the summer than the microfiber sheets, I can put up with a bit of scratchiness. The HYPREST sheets are definitely not perfect, but the price was reasonable for sheets that don’t make you sweat in the summer. If only they were a little softer. I’m glad I got the cotton sheets, but I will probably keep my eyes open for deep-pocket, cotton, king sheets that really are soft.

These sheets were a perfect fit for my 15 inch Queen mattress with 2 mattress toppers, totally 18-20in depth. I say 18-20 in because the pillow top can vary in fluffiness and height. Giving 5 stars because I'm overall happy and pleased but here are some pros/cons for the curious reader! Pros: 1. These sheets will certainly fit 18-24in depth mattresses with toppers like advertised - no question! So if you were struggling finding deep enough sheets, look no further! There is even spare length to tuck under the mattress on the sides. 2. It is 100% cotton and while they don't have a particularly high thread count (only 400), I didn't notice a difference on my skin between these and the 800 thread count Walmart sheets they replaced. Basically, I'm saying the price is right for the quality. I'm used to inexpensive sheet sets between $20 and $50 and these fit right into the quality I'm used to for the price range. 3. Arrived right on time brand new with no rips, holes, tears, stains or fraying. Neutral: 1. Its not really cooling but its also not really hot either. I find its fine for temperature distribution. Not outstanding in either arena for heating or cooling effects. Cons: 1. These are NOT wrinkle free or wrinkle resistant. The fact that they are advertised as such is a farce. Clearly in my pictures there are wrinkles-a-plenty! Even after a wash and dry there were still plenty of wrinkles. They're cotton though! I expected wrinkles so I knew the claims of being wrinkle-free were total baloney before I even bought these. 2. I bought "light grey" and I suppose you could consider this light grey but it was about 3 shades darker than my previous "light grey" sheets so its still kind of a dark light grey. 3. The non-fitted sheet is smaller/shorter than the fitted one. In one of my pictures you can see that the non-fitted sheet is a couple inches shorter so it doesn't cover the depth of my mattress and toppers fully. If you're one of those people that likes to do hospital corners for the non-fitted sheet, or likes to be able to tuck the non-fitted sheet under the mattress then this sheet set may not be for you.
