I've had this desk for nearly 6 months before writing this review and I just absolutely loved it. Bought it used and shipped by amazon for about $150. Think brand new runs about $240 or something. Who cares, I did save some money because I wanted all the extras to go with this desk [34"5k monitor (34WK95), clamp on monitor adjustable arm (*AmazonBasics Premium Single Monitor Stand), clamp on desk lamp (*Phive LED Lamp) pen organizer mount (*Self Stick Pencil Tray), clamp on surge protector (*Tripp Lite Surge Protector), Desk Clamp Binder Clip, adjustable stool(Brenton Studios Jaffin Active Stool), and underneath laptop mount(*Mintcraft pipe strap] so yeah, buying all that equipment ran up the price to build my rolling workstation. Buying it used, amazon did mention that it had cosmetic damages which was fine for me because really its mainly the framework I wanted. The desk part did have a few scuffs and chips and not like I couldn't fix it or just build the tabletop to my liking buying the wood from a local hardware store which initially was the plan. It;s not so much a bothersome for me because after 6 months, I still havent changed it and been using it for productivity anyway. Why this crank adjustable over an electric adjustable desk? PRICE is right! The crank is not difficult at all and only takes a few seconds vs an electric with single or dual motor where I would have to worry about the motor going out in the future. (I plan to keep this desk for many many many years). Motor will eventually go out and would have to look for another or fix it yourself. The size of the desk was perfect for portability going through doors from one room to the next while most electric stand up desk have it too wide for it and/or buy the desktop separate. I mainly work from home as I run businesses from home and part of it is graphic designing. Working from home has its pros and cons depending on discipline you are and that discipline can change from time to time. You can easily get lazy or lose focus from distraction because you a re at home thus why I move from master bedroom to another room to family room, to even outside to find my zone or just to wherever I feel like working. I can stand up and sit while working and if I get tired I use the *Brenton Studios Jaffin Active Stool to rest my butt on it. If I want to work lazy while watching TV in the family room, I can move my desk near the recliner, prop my foot up and pull out the monitor out attached to *Amazon Basic single arm mount and it extends far, high, light, rotate, tilt and everything to move it where I need it to be. Laying down on the bed as well is just the same and adjusting the desk height, easy as a crank.] Even if I have a party at home I can roll my desk out and use my computer as a karaoke system by using youtube (type karaoke before the song), connect my analog mixer (Yamaha MG06X) along with my mics (Shure SM58-LC) and output the sound to my living room system, or my *Altec Lansing ALP-X800 if outside by line in all you need is the cable 3.5 to rca to aux converters. It rocks. To complete my system Im just waiting for soundbar to come down in price or refurbished (preferably the Yamaha MusicCast Bar 400) to attach to my monitor on the mount with *Mount-it Soundbar Bracket and mount the sub on the left side of the foot of my desk opposite of my stool (Brenton Studios Jaffin Active Stool). All the power is attached to the Tripp Lite Surge Protector, although its only 3 AC plugs I only use 2 mainly for monitor (which charges my macbook pro underneath the desk using just a piece of wood and mounted with *Mintcraft TWC0534-3L Pipe Strap) and 1 for the light. The other will go to my soundbar once I receive it. 2 USB ports will charge my phone, ipad, or my apple pencil. I don’t really need the sound bar since I have 2 homepods, apple express that connects to an old subwoofer, a Sonos Beam just received and can airplay but just want sound with a direct connection since that is limited to my bedroom. I tried to connect the Sonos Beam directly to my macbook pro but 2017 they took out SPDIF stereo out and can’t directly connect to it. I plan on returning the Beam back to bestbuy since it gets out of sync with my music or appleTV and cant justify that price tag. Back to the Tripp Lite, its great because it clamps on my desk with a 10ft cord so I can just plug it anywhere and have the reachability without the cord getting in the way. When I move the desk, I used the *Multifunction Desktop Binder Clamp Clip to roll my power cord and hang on it. I’ve purchased the Bestek Surge Protector and mounted that on my headboard. I love that thing because of the six outlet, 4 USB with one of them on Quickcharge. I was planning to buying another to mount it to this desk but cons of it 1) I would waste the perfect use of my Tripp Lite that’s conveniently place right next to my monitor mount 2) I would probably have to mount it underneath my desk somewhere and make it hard to get to rather that on the top. 3) The cord is 6ft compared to the Tripp Lite’s 10ft and limit my portability of my desk. The cleanliness of my desk (at least most times when working and not like how pictured above lol) goes because of these accessories: *AmazonBasics Premium Single Monitor Stand – Clears desk space and can extend far, up, down, tilt, swivel and rotate to where I need it depending I put the workstation *Tripp Lite 3 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip with Desk Clamp – Its out of the way and stays right next my monitor stand. Cord is long for portability. *Phive LED Lamp – Clamps on to my desk rather than on top of it. I can slide it anywhere, adjust the arms to where I need it (high or low). Has great lighting when I need it and is dimmable to what I want depending on time of day. *Self Stick Pencil Tray – Under Desk Holder Pop-up Pen Strorage Drawer Organizer – I need to use pens and this gets rid of the clutter of having a cup or pen holder on the desk with pens. It just hides underneath my desk and if I need a pen, I just push it in to pop out the storage case. Its mounted just by 3M tape which is very strong and perfect for pens because not a lot of weight to it. *Multifunction Desktop Binder Clamp Clip – I actually have 2. I used to hold my pens in a cup and put that cup on the binder clip. I’ve gon away from it because of the storage pencil above but now use it to perfectly hold my power cord. I hang it from there when moving my desk or clamp the cord underneath it so it gets out of the way. *HyperX Fury S Speed Edition – Pro Gaming Mouse Pad X-Large - This pad is XL and great. It covers my desk perfectly and can move my keyboard and mouse with out needing to move a tiny mouse pad and have my keyboard half on or half off the little pad. And because I move around using this desk, I can just move my keyboard and mouse to any corner or middle of the desk depending on how Im using the desk. I also use it to stash papers underneath.

I was upgrading from a smaller Qck pad. This feels a little smoother and is a tad faster than the Qck. I bought this over the Gigantus V2 because it was cheaper and I think better due to having stitched edging. We'll have to wait and see on the long term durability. I'll try to update in a year or so. Control and stopping power is good with factory Logitech skates and excellent with Tiger Arc I skates. The logo in bottom right could be a little smaller but the mouse sensor works fine over the area. I believe cloth pads are the preferred option as long as they're durable. This is due to pads returning to like new condition after cleaning them every couple months. Overall I'm really happy so far with this great desk size game pad (900x420) for only 20 bucks!

I bought this HyperX Fury S - Pro Gaming Mouse Pad to replace my old Large HyperX Fury S mouse pad. Feels exactly the same, just bigger. The mouse pad is very comfortable and durable. It has a soft rubber base that provides stability and grip on any surface. It doesn’t slide or curl up at the corners. It also doesn’t collect dust or dirt easily. I would recommend this mouse pad for any other low-sensitivity player. I can now do a 360 easily on 1.4 400 DPI in CS:GO (or 0.44 400 DPI in Valorant).

UPDATE (2024): When I made this review originally I was a much less experienced and overall worse player than I am now. Back then I was pretty much smack dab average and my thoughts back then reflect that. I can comfortably say I am a pretty good player nowadays and have achieved high ranks in the games I play; Immortal in Valorant, 20k in CS2, Master in Apex, and at least top 95% in basically any KovaaKs scenario I play. So, after years more of experience I can better articulate the issue I had with this mousepad that I (somewhat poorly) detailed below back in 2019. I am unsure if anyone will even see this but if they do then I hope it will be of help, and also might teach you something and give you perspective on how experience plays a part in things. For my aim style, types of games I played and personal preferences I found that this pad didn’t work well for me. The issue I had with it was that this pad (for me) had too little stopping power and too little dynamic friction. Dynamic friction on a pad is how much force it takes to get the mouse moving from a stop. High dynamic friction means “sticky” feeling and low dynamic friction means “slippery” feeling. Stopping power is how quickly the mouse can stop. High stopping power means you can quickly stop, low stopping power means it may glide a bit more when you try to stop. So, this pad has relatively low dynamic friction and relatively low stopping power - meaning I felt out of control with it. I was a CS player who used a worn out QcK (slow pad made even slower from wear) at the time. Naturally, it was a hard adjustment and I never did fully adjust. I suspect nowadays I could use it with little issue though. This pad I believe also suffered a bit from inconsistency in some way. Not anything extreme really and I no longer have it so I’m going off memory, but I suspect there was some variation in the X and Y axis (felt faster/slower vertically or horizontally). For casual use or if you just like the aesthetic then it will be no real issue - but if you take things more seriously like I do then it might be a good idea to explore reviews and other options due to that. To briefly elaborate on my “Good For Palm Grip” idea, I believe I meant that if you are stable with your aim then it will work out for you better than it did for me. I still stand by that (in principle) but it’s a poor way of wording it and isn’t entirely correct. Palm grip is considered the most stable grip, but grip in and of itself won’t make a pad work for you or whatever. Overall though it is a fairly priced product of decent quality and I can recommend it for casual use or if you like the design. Now onto the old review so you can see the difference in how I perceive it. ORIGINAL REVIEW (2019): I purchased the Hyper X Fury S Speed (red/black design one) in hopes of improving my tracking. I really really love the look and feel of this mouse pad. It looks really cool, it's soft on the skin, and makes your mouse smooth as butter! Unfortunately it was too smooth for me... I originally had a QcK that I liked but after getting a larger desk I decided it was time to retire it and go for a new one. My flicks were good (I main an AWP on CS), but my tracking was subpar. I grabbed this mouse pad in hopes of fixing that, and as much as I wanted to like it I just couldn't aim well with it. I kept trying for a whole month using this thing and it just made my aim worse. I play a game called Aim Lab where you essentially just shoot at targets and it rates your accuracy, reaction time, etc. After using this mouse pad my accuracy dropped by almost 10% on Aim Lab, and this is after a month of daily use. I definitely felt I could track better and was less twitchy, but I would slide past targets constantly when flicking. It was just too slippery for me, but I loved everything else about it. I instead got a Zowie GSR and keep the Hyper X under my keyboard. Around 80% of my 6ft desk is now covered in mouse pad lol. A mouse pad can change how well you play by a lot. People underestimate this, and when I was missing easy shots and playing far worse than usual on CSGO I told people "I'm on a new mouse pad", and they'd just (understandably) laugh and say I'm making excuses. The same day I switched to the Zowie GSR is the same day my accuracy rating on Aim Lab went back to what it was on my QcK and I could aim again. I definitely would recommend this mouse pad. $20 is a great price for the size, quality, design and smoothness you get. Keep in mind though that it might not work for you. I feel like this mouse pad would work great for people who palm grip their mouse. I personally finger tip grip my mouse and it allows me to flick accurately and quickly, but it doesn't give me much control. This mouse pad in return doesn't mingle well with finger tip grips since it's very slippery. Nonetheless, I liked the look of it so much that I kept it as an asthetic even after buying a new mouse pad. I recommend it, but like I said be ready to return it if it doesn't work for you.

I had one of these for 6 years and it survived dozens of spills and countless hours of use. It holds up well, provides great tracking, and is great at being stable on smooth surfaces. Just bought another one since the one I had previously tortured was too stained for my liking after my 10+ spills of drinks. But would 100% recommend, especially for the price.
