I LOVE this gadget! For those who reviewed negatively due to cracking, I can only imagine they cannot follow instructions. Make sure to follow the instructions (not difficult) and you'll be fine. Man, I love this thing. Its worth every penny. But if you want to hear my thoughts on the product then read below: First Impressions: - Construction & Directions: At first it was a tiny bit difficult for me to figure out how to construct it with the water in the right place. As a guy I don't like to read directions, but on this product i decided to read them because I really wanted ice cold coffee. The only mistake I made that added 2 minutes to the process was a missed one line of the instructions that said "and pour into the black cup." Because I missed that line I kept trying to pour water into the little stainless steel container and then the medium sized stainless steel container (where the coffee goes). But I got it figured out. It would help if the directions were broke up into easier steps. I.E. Step 1: Fill tiny stainless steel container to line and attach to lid. Step 2: Fill medium sized stainless steel container to line. Step 3: Pour into big container. Step 4: Attach medium stainless steel container to lid. Step 5: Attach lid to large container. See I just added that one step for idiots like me. - Liquid Cooling: This cools scorching hot water to ice cold temps in literally 60 seconds. So happy with this product. - Fluid Capacity: This is why i marked the product down to a 4 star. It can only do 8oz of liquid at a time. If you do 10oz it will be coming out of the lid as you swirl it around. I really would like to see it do 10oz without the liquid coming out of the lid. Or at least an attachment to the lid to stop that overfill from mattering. Great product, already paid for itself just a few days later. ... show more

I got this after seeing a bunch of ads for it on Facebook. I thought, wow, that's really cool that it can chill a drink so quickly. I thought it was electronic, but then learned that it works by filling two compartments with water/ice that surround your drink and cool it. It seemed ingenious. Well, it isn't. This thing sucks. It's a lot of work for little reward. First off, it only works once before you have to refreeze it for your next drink. It says it can work up to 2 drinks, that's total bs. If you have a cold drink and want to make it slightly colder, then yea, it'll work twice. But you won't make 2 ice coffees from 2 hot coffees. The ice inside melts almost immediately when you put any drink above room temperature in it. And there's also the fact that you when you rinse it by filling it with water/soap etc, it'll further melt the ice inside, so now you have to wait another 1-2 hours if you want to use it for a different kind of drink. Another problem is that it fits only 12oz. So if you have a bottle/pint of warm beer and want to cool it, you'll have to fill this thing twice, and by the second time the ice inside will already be half melted, so it won't cool your beer uniformly. The last problem is that this thing is BIG. It's got an irregular shape and it's really wide. It's going to take up some real room in your freezer, and you can't just position it any way you want since it has to be upright for the water inside to freeze correctly. I returned this. I'd rather put my beer or coffee in the fridge or freezer, wait a bit and then drink it. But for $40??? No thanks. Not worth the hassle of cleaning/freezing and losing freezer space. ... show more

Like how I do not need to make the coffee the night before so that it is chilled in the morning. Just brew your favorite pod, wait a couple of minutes after done brewing and the coffee is ready for you to add in your favorite creamer etc. Is easy to use, just make sure that it is in the freezer overnight so that it is ready to use in the morning. ... show more
