He did manage to break the seat belt because it fell and hit the ground when he was test riding it. Not necessarily the makers fault. Bought it for my stepson for Christmas and he loves it. It is heavy, but that it a good thing. It is super fast, depending on the hoverboard used. My stepson rides in the backyard, and although his current hoverboard is fast, it is not really an all terrain hoverboard, so he doesn't have much ground clearance. Don't spend any penny for this item. Cheap made. We have it for 3month now. I got it for Christmas ( 8 weeks in use). The belts ripped off both during driving. Touching the ground by every bounce. Spend way too much on it. Because it didn't happend after 1 month. No return possible and I don't think Amazon cares or the seller. Manufacturer doesn't come back to me after 5 emails. What a shame! After writing to the company email address which was provided by amazon. No responses of all my emails still. ... show more

Looks nice. It's heavier than I thought it would be. Seems to be sturdy. Only issue is there is a cable I believe it's missing. From right peddle to left rear mounting bracket for hover board?

Birthday gift for my 7 year old. He had so much fun on it. I love that it’s adjustable so him as a 7 year old can ride it but so can I as an adult. Instructions weren’t great but we figured it all out.

    • It doesn't fit any Segway Hoverboard!

Some Segway hoverboards are too narrow to fit the back of the kit, and Segway steers in a different way, rendering the braking if not useless, dangerous even. Very nice, disc brakes a really nice touch, but... And the thing is, I really tried to make it work, so, I trimmed the back, repositioned the brake, adapted the Segway for the straps, but...., and could not even return, because of the modifications I did. ... show more

I bought this product 10 months ago. My son barely used it and one of the brakes already is broken. Called the company, no answer. Finally I was able to reach them through email with no help just the option to buy the part from their site. Won't be buying any of their products again.
