I really don't enjoy gulping water out of big metal tubes while awkwardly holding the lid in one hand and the bottle in the other. I was super excited to see this design that will not only keep my water nice and cold for a long time, but also allow me to enjoy it leak free with a straw. I got one for my husband as well. I think the colors look more vibrant online - for example, I got him the indigo color and it's basically just a super dark blue. It's not as pretty as it was online. I am happy with the teal blue color I got, and my sister's lime green one is pretty too. I like having the little strap to carry the bottle with and plan to get a carabiner to hang it from my backpack. Other comments about the switch to open it being unclear are accurate, but this is definitely not a deal breaker. It's not hard to open, it's just not extremely obvious which direction the straw flips to open as the thumb tab is only just barely off center. However, if they put it more toward the opening, then it would be in the way of your mouth. Short of adding a texture or color to one side of the tab to make it obvious, I think they did the best they could here. My only real qualm is that I don't think I would enjoy using this during a strenuous workout. It requires enough sucking power that I wouldn't really want to deal with that if I was already out of breath and desperately wanting water. But so long as you're just doing something light or moderate, this should not be an issue.

I love this hydro flask the shipping took a while but a paid a great price so I am not complaining. The color is a perfect shade of navy and the package arrived with no damage. I use this hydro flask everyday and the straw is great. Be careful to not leave the the straw open. Only think I would change would maybe get a larger size as I found I refill it more than I expected.

These bottle are not the best at keeping water cold. I replaced a Contigo water bottle and was very disappointed in the ability to keep ice water 24 hours. So needless to say, I went back to contigo and wont use this bottle very much. It’s a waste of money

I needed a smaller water bottle to carry in my backpack, it only spills water if the straw is open at all, and sometimes water explodes out of the straw with I flip it open. I love it though, I carry it around everywhere
