Good materials. But probably not as convenient as i thought it would be. Compact only when it’s empty. Otherwise, nothing different from a regular bottle. A regular is probably easier to hold and drink from.

Packs down so small and once i figured out how to snap and unsnap it to it’s compact form, it was great! Wouldn’t recommend drinking from it for the first time with just a water rinse like i did haha. But the taste improved a lot with soap. My only real complaint is that the soft plastic means you have to support it while you drink out of it but of course that’s the nature of the collapsible bottle. I haven’t used it too long but will be using it for travel this summer and hoping the plastic holds up to frequent collapsing and uncollapsing. ... show more

    • It's Almost Great from the Start!
I really like this product and the concept of it. It's great to collapse it down when you are not using it. The only two things that I don't like is that #1, this does not come in 1 liter for both thread openings. My filter fits fine on this product, but 750 is just a little too small of volume for backpacking. This is a deal breaker for me! I don't see me buying another of this product unless 1L becomes available. Make sure you are buying the right product to fit your filter needs! The second detractor is that it just comes with a cap. I would rather see something on it that makes it easier to drink from. Then, purchase the cap separately if needed. I'd already purchased one of their 2 L products and I've been able to switch out the caps. It's just inconvenient. When you buy something like this, you are sacrificing stability for compactability. This particular design is a nice compromise. The firm bottom certainly helps keep this from tipping over. I also like the colors that are available. Is there a bit of an aftertaste from this bottle? Yes, but no big deal to me. ... show more

I bought this to take on a recent vacation, and I have mixed feelings on the product. I think it works well for what it is, but in the end, drinking out of it isn’t the easiest. I thought it would be a little more sturdy than it actually was, and handling it when it was full was a little unwieldy. In fact, it was so awkward that I ended up going for other bottles instead. If you’re trying to keep space and weight down, then I’m sure it’s fine, but I just can’t see me using this in any other situation with quite literally anyy other bottle in reach. ... show more
