The material of cover was a tad on the thinner side but appears to be well made with decent stitching and seam work. The inner tiedown ribbons were securely sewn and performed well in capturing the duvet corners and keeping them in place. The opening is secured with a plethora of large buttons which area pain to undo/do up- a zipper or even velcro closure would have been better in my opinion. i got a large winter comforter and was hoping to use this item to give it a little bit more style but, of course, to protect that pricey blanket from any spills, drops, or damage. It looks super cute and is a delight to look at every morning. There are corner ties but you do have to do a little bit of time to find and use them. My one qualm that prevent me from recommending this far and wide is the thickness of the fabric. I got a comforter that is white, perhaps off-white depending on who you ask. Somehow, due to the thin fabric on this cover, you are able to sneak a peek into it to see that white/off-white blanket inside. This was a bit of a shame. It doesn't affect the usability too much but makes it look slightly less impressive. I hope that this does not end up affecting the durability of the cover. If that happens, my vote is against this item. ... show more

This duvet is paper thin so if you have a down comforter that is anything but white you can see it through the fabric it’s so thin. Strings sticking out at numerous seams with one seam already coming apart after initial wash upon receiving it. Not worth the hassle to return. Going in the trash.
