I have a curvy shape and this jacket, which I ordered in my normal size large, fits perfectly and looks fabulous! I also have a short torso. The button comes comes just below my bust. I have a B cup. I say all this because if you're a normal size large with a long torso or a large bust this may not work as well for you, as far as that button goes. The fabric is stretchy and therefore can work for various body shapes but the height of the button and buttonhole may not work for those with long torsos. The sleeves are cut to an average length, so that means that on me they're 4 inches too long, but I'm used to that and am prepared to shorten the sleeves. The jacket is super comfortable too. It's unlined, which is ok with me because I Iive in a year-round warm climate. I can see myself wearing this jacket with pants, skirts and certain dresses - very versatile. I love this jacket!

I was worried about my chest and shoulders being too large, or the sleeves being too long and this fit almost like it was custom made. It's a little looser in the waist, but I ordered a size up because women's clothing tends to run small. I'd say this runs true to size, no need to order a size up. My shoulders have room to move. I paired this with a pencil skirt and heels and it looks so professional, it's look great with trousers or jeans too. It is made out of a cotton jersey material so it's soft like a tee shirt while maintaining a structured appearance. I thought I'd have to remove the shoulder pads but they actually help maintain the blazer structure so I'm keeping them. Could easily cut out without messing up the jacket if you don't like them though. The peplum bottom also hides my mom pouch which is awesome. The waist comes in enough to help maintain an hourglass shape. Definitely would recommend for anyone who wants to look professional and put together and be comfortable at the same time.

I needed to purchase a black jacket that looked more tailored and fitted for an occasion that was not casual. The shoulder pads and the sharp crisp cut of the jacket makes it look really nice and like a tailored fit. Stretchy, so if you’re looking for a more fitted look, I would def size down! This is a really pretty and well-cut jacket, however I did not realize it was made out of a Lycra material, so it is very stretchy. This is not a cotton jacket as I assumed, but more of a cotton/lycra blend. It's comfy and was a great color (I purchased the royal blue for a Ravenclaw HP event).

I sixed up from recommended, glad it did, it fit perfectly. A little stretchy.. Item arrived in a bag that had been opened, so probably a return, which may be why it was so badly wrinkled. Hard to imagine what it would look like pressed., I ordered red, hoping for a true red or slightly blue red. It leans a little to orangey red, so I returned it. It is bright and if you can wear that color it would be great, but I can't.
