Such a cute jacket! Love it! The fabric is not very thick but substantial. The material is a bit rough to the skin I believe. It comes to about the waist with the two front tips hanging down lower. I got the black and white and the black and red and love them both. I will say they are pretty warm on however! I wore one to a wedding over a dress and like to have died from the heat! The material anyway seems quite durable. They are not lined. These jackets are sooooooooo versatile and will go with so much of your wardrobe! Very happy! ... show more

I am sooooo pleased with this item! Gotta say, I was nervous ordering it, as a plus-size girl I've returned lots of clothing marketed as plus size that clearly was not, so I'm always nervous about fit. I'm anywhere between an 18-22, depending on who makes it (you all know what I mean!), so its a bit of a coin toss when ordering. I ordered a 3x and was astonished, an absolutely perfect fit. The pointed, draped front is super flattering, and this from someone who has NEVER been successful finding a jacket that doesn't look boxy and masculine. I'm about to enter the teaching field and I will be ordering more of these, in many more colors. I also LOVE the fabric, which some other reviewers panned but I am thrilled with, it's light enough to wear everyday, heavy enough to drape nicely. This is one of the best Amazon purchases I've ever made - so glad I took a chance on it. (Update) After my great experience with the first jacket, in black, I ordered three more in different colors. But there I ran into issues, so I am back to remove a star from my rating. One of the three came in a clear plastic package with the correct size on it, but when I tried it on it was noticeably too small. Odd, then I looked at the actual label on the garment itself and it was INDEED two sizes too small. So that one goes back to Amazon. One of the others I ordered I took out of the package and it REEKED of someone else's perfume!! Obviously someone's repackaged return. I would return that one, too, but it's just easier to wash the thing, but still... some quality control please? Also, I've noticed on these reviews that several people mentioned shoulder pads, which they cut out. I've ordered four of these now and only ONE has shoulder pads, so either there is a mixed bag in terms of manufacturing or a lot of these are repackaged returns. ... show more

Definitely not flattering. It hangs and bags. It it doesn’t have any fitting to the body. It’s surprising that other images show that because there is no tailoring to indicate it gives any shape. The material is light (which is okay) but feels more like a cardigan but is somewhat shaped like a blazer. I would not consider this a blazer. The material is not flattering, not breathable. It’s comfortable in the sense it’s not tight (but it hangs). There is no lapel to speak of so I’m unsure how these other women got a lapel on theirs. Maybe it’s just the XXL that doesn’t have it? There’s no definition. It came with one single shoulder pad which would fall out if I worse it (how embarrassing would that be in the middle of giving a presentation and it fell out). I like to try things for myself but if you’re buying an XXL …Basically no point in purchasing this blazer if you are looking for a fitted “blazer” this is a Cardigan you can dig out of the discount bin at thrift store (which I love but would never bring this home from the thrift store). ... show more

I wanted to love this blazer - it was a great, vibrant yellow, a light-weight but not sheer fabric, and the sleeves were very flattering. However, there were some issues with quality (pulled threads, open seams) and I found the shoulder pads to be too imposing. Before returning it, I looked to see if they could easily be removed, but they are sewn in there pretty well, so I was concerned that removing them would otherwise harm the garment. I ordered a 1X, based on reviews, but I typically wear an XL (or sometimes a L in cardigans/jackets), and probably would have ordered my normal size for a better fit. The 1X was too bulky in the shoulders (shoulder pads or no) and had too much extra room around the torso. With a couple of tweaks, this could be a great addition to my wardrobe, but I think I'm going to try a few other styles instead. Wish it had worked out! ... show more

Shoulder pads are cheap and not secured. Too small, and to thick/tall for being so small. Feels like I have a ball of cotton sitting on my shoulder. Always have to "place them" when I put it on. And it's not fitted or "form fitting" so sometimes it slides back and looks like I have a tumor on my shoulder. Can't remember how much I paid, not worth more than $10. Although, it is a cute "cut"/ style - but does. Stay in the same spot. I repeat, looks disheveled unless you stand like a statue all day. The pallefs/ or fold over things on the front (whatever you call them!!! :) - are not secure so always flap around. Or fold over unevenly. Looks disheveled!!! Never wear a shirt with sleeves under this - as there is no silk liner - it will clump on your upper arm and give you nice old lady fat arms. Not a true black either - compared to a high quality blazer and you can see kind of brown. I wouldn't dare wash this - would probably turn dark brown/maroon. Not lined either - which is half the cheapness - results in being too light weight, fold over palles not staying put, and static - yes static - causing wrinkles (throws me back to the 80's. commercials!!! FYI, I'm going overboard on the review details - because I just got an amazon account a week ago and went nuts shopping - returning half the things I bought because I had no idea what I was really getting. Wish more people in the amazon community left more reviews and pics :). ... show more

I'm glad I gave this a shot - I was worried it would be super stretchy, thin, and cheap looking like some other inexpensive jackets I've tried from Amazon. That wasn't the case at all! First, this is a thinner material, but not sheer or overly thin. Since the weather's warming up, I actually like that it isn't thick or heavy. It's nice as well because I can wear a long sleeved blouse under it and it doesn't look too bulky. Second, the cut of this is very flattering. I like how it's a bit shorter in the back and the collar almost drapes down. I felt great wearing this - it looks super put together without being uncomfortable or restricting, as other reviewers have mentioned. I gave 3 stars on "wrinkle-free," because I think this would wrinkle pretty horribly if you left it in the dryer for two minutes. Although it might not even be dryer-safe... Just don't ever wash it and you should be fine ;) ... show more
