I gave it 4-stars instead of 5 because this is supposed to be "wrinkle-resistant" and as far as I can tell it isn't. If the wrinkles come out or lessen after placing it on my table I will update this review. The material is polyester according to the listing and there is no tag on the tablecloth telling you what it is made from. The cloth should be stain resistant but I didn't feel like spilling cool-aid on the cloth to find out. The fabric had a coarse texture to it and is not smooth at all. Since polyester is slightly coarse I imagine it is polyester just in a durable weave so it doesn't tear easily. The cloth isn't a solid color and is actually pretty looking. It is not that thick for a tablecloth which is probably why it is relatively inexpensive to buy. It definitely isn't my favorite tablecloth as I prefer them smooth rather than coarse but it does look nice but I would likely need to iron it on low to get it wrinkle free. I will try to update this review after I wash it to see if the wrinkles come out.

We needed something (other than a sheet) to cover the extremely old record player/radio that my daughter intends to restore..... some day. We didn't want the sun fading it, nor her 16 pound cat falling through the sliding top. So we figured we'd try this tablecloth, as it didn't look like slippery plastic looked like it has that understated elegance look. The scalloped edges & crisp, clean feel of this tablecloth are, indeed, understated elegance. It fits over this antique radio nicely, protecting it from the sun's harmful rays. And as you can see in the pics, her kitty definitely approves of this tablecloth, as well!

The material is thin ans a little scratchy. I would not pay 30+ USD for this cloth. It was water resistant, I did not bother to try to stain it because of the thin cloth. You can see through the table cloth in sun light and it felt like it may only last a few dinners before breaking down. I will update this review as needed.

Nice tablecloth. Feels cheap (thin) so I would had rated this closer to a 3.7 so I rounded up. Small fibers of the material, like thin whiskers can be seen when you initially open it. The cloth is definitely water resistant, I spilled some water and it just stayed like a little bubble on the top which was nice to see. The edge is interesting pattern, its not a straight flat cut. It reminds me of those kids scissors used to make arts and craft waves. It works as expected, size is spot on. As budget friendly cloth would recommend it.
