I did go a size up but it fits really well and is flattering. You can remove the insert on really hot days but I can't because the inside is itchy to me. I have sensitive skin. I recommend! It's breathable by opening zippers. It seems to be waterproof although I was only in the rain once and not for very long. I was dry. It seems to made well so the quality is good! ... show more

I personally like the jacket, it was comfortable while riding, I do know that I'm not able to wear anything thick under it you wouldn't fit or it just wasn't comfortable, thankfully I haven't fell or dropped the bike so I can't vouch for its durability for that portion but I can tell you that I noticed a fairly large burn hole in my sleeve of my jacket and I had no idea where it came from the only thing that I can think of is that I brushed up against my exhaust, so you can say that I was very very unhappy because now I have a big burn hole in my jacket and it like melted , if you were able to see it which I should take a picture of but I'm sorry it looks like I held my arm to my exhaust which I did not, I know that my exhaust has a tendency to get extra hot so I'm usually cautious to make sure that I don't touch it so for the burn to be that big and look like the material melted I don't know, so it's definitely not fire proof which we already knew but I didn't think it would melt like that, but it's also an inexpensive jacket so you can't really complain but other than that Like I said I found it to be comfortable, I don't know if it says that it's waterproof in the description I don't remember so if it does say that it is I'm just letting you know it's definitely not, I have worn it in light rain and heavy rain and no matter what I got wet I think it's fine if it's misting or a small shower but I do recall wearing it one time and I was soaked, but like I said I don't don't know if it says that it's waterproof so it might not even state that but if it does it's not, I had to read the reviews to purchase the correct size, I purchased a medium and I am 5'7 1/2 and 125lbs, I was actually going to order a small at first but I wanted to make sure that it wasn't short on the arms, but I would say if you are a small go up one size because I've had the jacket for a year and I'm making the review now, I actually think when I initially purchased the jacket I think I was lighter than what I am now and I still can't wear anything bulky under it, but everything fits on the arms and it's long enough, but yeah like I said I only really ride with it on in the summer so I don't have much on under it I think I try to wear maybe a sweatshirt under it once and it was too much, so you get what you pay for it's cute honestly and it's comfortable but if you do you get it close and have a heat you will probably melt it ... show more

Love this jacket! The style, safety features, waterproof, quality, vents, and zip out liner make this a super versatile jacket that helps protect me on my new scooter. Safety features include elbow, shoulder and back pads which I hope to never have to use but am glad they are there just in case. The first day I rode with it was today in a light drizzle, and it kept my body and arms dry, even with the vents open and jacket not zipped up I had taken the liner out since it is still in the 80s outside. The black liner was easy to zip out & with 2 buttons on each sleeve end that'll help keep it in place when it get's cold.. There are also 3 reflector strips on the jacket (one across the back and one on each upper arm) which will help me be more visible if I ride when it's dark. Well worth the few weeks wait to get (since it was backordered) and the $60 some odd dollar price tag. The jacket is true to size with the sleeves a little long but easy to adjust with Velcro strips at wrists. I got a medium which is what I usually wear. I'm not sure but I probably should have sized up for the fall clothing, I'm 5'7 128-133 and bought the small, im a 4-6 which is perfect in the summer months with the vents open but now adding the liner and a shirt has made it a bit more snug. But it's nice, not bad riding in 54° weather with the liner and a long sleeve shirt. Offers good protection and the BF thinks I look sexy in it lol. I bought this for my girlfriend as I have a mens HWK riding jacket and pants and they have held up great for over a year and wanted to get my GF one because it’s protection from the weather and if ever we have an accident the padding and thick material will give me more peace of mind. I went up a size so she can wear a hoodie under it as these fit exact size so if you want it just for that without room for a thicker hoodie go up a size imo. These are water and wind resistant and even on hot days are comfortable (not sitting still on hot summer days but rather when moving) as there are vents and you can remove the inner liner. It’s high quality materials , reflective at night and well made. Worth every penny if you ride a motorcycle it’s a must for safety.
