Jacket is very warm with the liner but once you take it out it is very nice and cool. Just it and immediately took it for a ride. Its warm here in AZ so took the liner out and opened the vents and it was amazing. Vent in the torso, armpit area and on the back. Has solid pads in the elbows, shoulders and back. Also has adjustable straps on the wrist, forearms, upper arms and waist. Has an inside flap you can tuck in your pants so it won't fly up as well as being a bit longer in the back for added protection. Even though it has a higher mandarin style color there is a super soft border around the neck so it doesn't hurt when it rubs. Due to the pads of course it is a bit rigid, but that is to be expected. Lots of pockets. Can't say enough about the value of this jacket. Time will tell if it holds up, but the Street and Steel one very similar that I wanted was almost $200. The purple is a bit pink but it still matches my visor, if not the helmet itself. Love it! I have 37 inch lats with a AA bust so pretty small. 5'2" with a 29 inch waist making the waist straps perfect. A bit snug on my arms cuz my biceps are muscular but not uncomfortable. I have been searching for a nice, summer-weight riding jacket that didn't cost a fortune. I was pleased with this option, once you remove the zip-out liner it seems quite cool. I like the multiple vent options, and the material is sturdy but comfortable. As a busty woman finding a jacket to fit the chest that doesn't make me look like a linebacker in the shoulders is not an easy task, and while this one is a bit big in the shoulders it's not terrible, especially considering the added bulk from the ce armor. I do like the fact that you can adjust the fit with the velcro straps, and I would suggest maybe they could add some additional fitment adjusting straps, but for the price, it's a decent jacket. ... show more

Love this jacket! The style, safety features, waterproof, quality, vents, and zip out liner make this a super versatile jacket that helps protect me on my new scooter. Safety features include elbow, shoulder and back pads which I hope to never have to use but am glad they are there just in case. The first day I rode with it was today in a light drizzle, and it kept my body and arms dry, even with the vents open and jacket not zipped up I had taken the liner out since it is still in the 80s outside. The black liner was easy to zip out & with 2 buttons on each sleeve end that'll help keep it in place when it get's cold.. There are also 3 reflector strips on the jacket (one across the back and one on each upper arm) which will help me be more visible if I ride when it's dark. Well worth the few weeks wait to get (since it was backordered) and the $60 some odd dollar price tag. The jacket is true to size with the sleeves a little long but easy to adjust with Velcro strips at wrists. I got a medium which is what I usually wear. I did go a size up but it fits really well and is flattering. You can remove the insert on really hot days but I can't because the inside is itchy to me. I have sensitive skin. I recommend! It's breathable by opening zippers. It seems to be waterproof although I was only in the rain once and not for very long. I was dry. It seems to made well so the quality is good! ... show more

What there not to like?? I have been looking for a jacket that's longer in the back and that I can ride in cool weather with. This jacket is perfect! It has a feminine look, and is not boxy like allot of jackets are. I did go by the size recommended and order than 2 XL. It was a bit large. I returned it for the XL. The XL fits me perfect. With the inner liner I won't need to wear an extra heavier jacket underneath, but I still have room for a lighter layer if I want. I still need to cinch in the waist just a bit. I am 5-6, 185 lb, 36DD chest,(42" around bust) 33 in waist, 42 hips. It has two velcro straps on each arm and one on either side at the waist that allows it to be tailored for your fit. The sleeve length is perfect when I sit on my bike, upright or leaning over, the back does cover me. Nothing is exposed. It stays put when riding as well. The jacket does have zippered vents on the back and arms. (Another review said it did not) The inner liner comes out with ease, It zips around the inside and then secure with two elastics at the wrist on each arm. The armor is not a heavy plastic. It is a thicker foam type, not sure how much protection it will provide in a crash. You can always put in the heavier plastic armor. Shoulders and arms are not too bulky like on some jackets. The back of the jacket has the armor that can be removed and also a slightly quilted/padded area that is sewn in. I can actually move and not feel like the Michelin man. As far as warmth and waterproof, I don't know yet. I will update my review after I wear it in the cooler/wetter weather. All in all this jacket it such a great buy at $50. 1/3 the cost of my other jackets!! Perfect!! ... show more
