I was looking for an inexpensive desk to set up my home office and stumbled upon this. I won't lie, my expectations were low, as I understand that you get what you pay for. This desk exceeded my expectations! It's much more functional than I expected. It really is beautiful and although I initially gave it no thought, it's a game changer to have a power source on the desk and if I ever need a bigger desk, that will now be a requirement. Assembly was straightforward and easy. I was able to assemble unassisted. The quality is decent-- I believe this will easily last for years. This lightweight desk looks good while doing heavyweight work. It is plenty sturdy enough for both my 32 inch TV and 24 in monitor that are both connected to my computer. It was priced below most desks of this size. I like the fact that it can be set up with the L on either the left or the right. That versatility allowed me to fit it into my limited space better (as my sewing machine cabinet is on the side where the drawers are). The cross braces not only provide stability but also give you an excellent place to strap excess cords for cable management. The instructions are some of the best I've seen for furniture that can be assembled in multiple ways. At the beginning of the book it shows you flat out that if you want to assemble it one way you want pages 6-18 and for the other way pages 19-32. No bouncing back and forth between "do this or that" type of stuff. And for those that don't normally keep tools around, or are just totally disorganized at the moment, it even comes with ll the tools needed for assembly. The only downside to this desk is what I don't like about most desks these days. The lack of a built in keyboard tray. Luckily, I already had a clamp on one. The top isn't too high for many people to use for their keyboard and mouse, but for those of us that aren't blessed in the height department, it's an uncomfortable reach if we want to keep our feet on the floor while typing or gaming.

The desk came together really nicely. The instructions were correct that you would need a partner to help, at least for me as I do not rather enjoy building things. Please be aware that depending on how you want to orient your desk, will depend on how you have to put it together. The instruction book gives you three different options. I chose assembly option 2 because I wanted the longer piece on the left side of me. The book shows #7 in the back at first but then on another page shows 7 being closest to you. So that was a little confusing. Needless to say #7 needed to go in the back and #8 in the front. I also ended up having to flip #7 due to me having the holes needed to connect the #10 bar, facing the outside. Bar #11 actually needed to go on inside of the structure because it has the extra hole needed to connect #9 and #12 is the bar that is closet to the wall. So after thinking holes were missing, it was user error. Also be mindful of how you install the drawer holders. The flat side should be facing outward so that the drawers can slide in. It was brought to my attention that I had a few of them on backwards and had to flip them around. The desk is pretty stable and it fits perfectly in the space I wanted it for. I really like the overall design. It’s simple but perfect for a bedroom desk. It also has a pretty nice height. The drawers are cloth which doesn’t bother me and they are actually not bad quality.

This desk is great for the price! It is fairly easy to set up and put together. It's not by any means a huge robust desk. But its strong enough that it does not even wiggle or shake. It is very ridged. All the frame parts are metal. The drawers are just folded material boxes that come flat and have to be unfolded. They still do the job though. The ONLY thing I don't like is how narrow the depth of the top is. It's not very deep from where you sit back to the rear edge, so if you're going to use it with a computer and a decent size monitor. The screen will be right in your face pretty much when your chair is close enough for you to reach the keyboard. And your keyboard will be right near the edge, so your arms will hang off the front. Other than that, it is pretty good, especially if you're going from no desk to this. The outlets are nice to plug things in on the top without a tangled mess of cords deep under the back. Also, the shelf under the L shape end is good for a computer unit to sit on, it can even support a fairly heavy one at that. You can bolt it together to have the L shape at whatever end you want to match your rooms layout!

This desk was a perfect fit in all ways. The width, depth and height were as advertised and aside from emptying the box's contents, it took about 20min to put together. My 10 year old son, who the desk was for, was a wiz screwing it all together and now that it is place, he says it's "perfect". It is sturdy, simple and easy to adjust if the floor is slightly uneven. We put pads under the feet so it won't scratch the floor and can slide out if needed. The power strip was a nice touch. This is the third piece of furniture I have purchased from them, first two being a printer shelf unit and the other a 3D printer unit and they have all been easy to assemble, are sturdy and were exactly as advertised. The gray desk looks great in the room. He wanted the desk for its versatility and artwork. As he said, it's perfect.

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect craft/sewing desk. It's not easy to find an L-shaped desk with the side piece being as small as this one is. But it's what I needed to fit my small craft room in between to cabinets, while avoiding a wall air vent and not blocking a window. I'm really happy with it. One of the coolest things is how well the size of it works with other storage bins and things that I have (see my video). The side shelves can hold those little plastic shoebox size bins stacked 2 high and 3 across on each shelf. And if you don't need to have a chair tucked under the desk, the space underneath is perfect for one of those larger 3-drawer plastic wheeled storage carts. My chair stays at my writing desk and then when I want to use this desk, I just roll that cart out from under and slide in my chair. It did take a while to put together and you really have to pay attention to which part is which and which way it attaches. But if you take your time, it's not hard. The only issue I had was that the hex key tool they include is low quality and it stripped when I was snugging one of the screws. Fortunately, I have other hex keys of the same size, so it wasn't a problem. Once you've got the desk all together with the cross braces on, it's nice and stable.

I love this desk. It's just the right height for comfort, and plenty of room for what I need. It seems to be sturdy and good quality and the wood grain color is beautiful. You will need to pay attention to the instructions (direction of your poles etc) in order for things to line up correctly. This desk can be set with left or right hand L shape so it will have holes in different areas. I placed one of the poles with the screw holes on the side not the top so when it came time to need those screw holes it wasn't lining up but it was an easy fix, I just loosened the two ends of the pole and twisted it to turn the screw holes to the top and then tightened back down without a problem. With that being said all the screw holes were in alignment with each other and everything went smooth. It will be easy to take it apart and put back together if that's ever needed. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Great desk! Easy to assemble. Quality materials, real metal and wood (tho particle board) … until you get to the drawers. In the pictures it seems like the drawers are the same materials as the shelves and frame but that is not the case! All of a sudden it’s cheap plastic hardware on FABRIC drawers! It’s like they ran out of money designing it! Not what I thought I was buying. Doesn’t even match! Who wants fabric drawers when the rest of the desk is metal and wood?
