Definitely glad I got the 6 tier over the 5, it was a little bit of a hassle to put together on my own but honestly it's sturdy enough for my purposes and it looks pretty good as well

This 5 tier bookshelf has a total of 10 shelves so it will hold lots of items. There is room for photos, storage baskets or bins and all the decor items you want to display. It will also hold a lot of books if that is your thing. Even though the design is simple, don’t mistakenly think it isn't strong. The steel frame, “X” supports at the back and center supports the full height of the shelves making it very strong and stable. The shelves are one piece (no joins in the middle) and they also have a raised baffle at the back and sides of the shelves to keep things from falling off. Adjustable feet easily compensate for any uneven floors that could make the bookshelf wobble. You can get the bookshelf perfectly level even if your floor isn’t. The shelves are made of strong and waterproof engineered wood in a lovely brown faux woodgrain finish. It took Hubby about an hour to assemble this bookshelf. Instead of laying it on the floor to assemble. He decided to assemble it in two halves and then join them together. This method may help others with mobility issues. This is a great bookshelf with modern styling that blends with other styles of furniture you may already have. Nice!

I've recieved this brand several times with out issue this time sadly not the case when moving it gently to put on the end bar frame the bottom board snapped. As shown in pictures. We still planned to finish putting it together but then realized that end bar has holes drilled on the wrong side. It's not user error either we triple checked the instructions and the build. Bigger problem is its very cheap particle board which caused it to snap so easily. Needless to say very disappointed as this was meant to be a shelf for my teenage son to organize his collections.

This is likely the nicest put together shelves I’ve ever ordered & I have bought many over the years. You really need a 2nd person to put it together.. will certainly go a lot quicker I had to stumble through by myself so it is doable but just know these shelves are like 4ft long & they’re not light.. they are some kind of wood I like that they have the sides you add to prevent things from falling. That was a huge reason for my ordering.. because I like the open back look that is braced but I don’t want things tumbling off Comes with a good set of instructions & who to contact if missing parts. Comes with all the tools you’ll need and each part is labeled so you’ll know you are using what you should where you should. Id absolutely order again. I will be using in my kitchen for extra storage of thing so don’t use all the time..

Really nice shelf once it is all put together. The instructions were a bit strange, super detailed in some spots and then not enough in others. There are a few pieces that it really matters which side is up or down or front or back, pay attention to that even when the instructions don’t point it out. We had to take a few things off to get the middle piece facing the right direction. The shelf comes with nicely labeled parts though and that was really helpful and once together, it’s sturdy (with wall fasteners if you want them) and it looks nice. I’m overall really pleased with it.

This took longer than expected to assemble and I goofed up a few times but it was very easy and forgiving to unscrew and rescrew a few times which shows it’s got good quality wood. It is sturdy and the shelf spacing is fixed but provides great height for everything I stored in it like boxes and bins. Just really pay extra attention to hole placement in the instructions.
