I read many reviews before buying this. Either the company fixed reported issues or reviewers were mistaken. Packaging was good and there was no sign of package failure. The main table had protective corners which would have prevented damage. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. There are a lot of parts so it does take some time to complete. There are extra bolts included, but I didn't need any as everything went together smoothly. An allen wrench and a screwdriver was included. The unit becomes very sturdy once all of the bolts are tightened. I wasn't sure about the cloth drawers, but I really like them. The LED strip was the last thing I cared about, but after installing it and playing around I find it quite entertaining. I like this item a lot. ... show more

Goes together well, solid design. The cloth drawers with reinforcing bottoms are heavier duty than I thought they would be; totally satisfied with them. This was the best design for me with the shelving, multiple layers, 4 drawers, 2 open shelves on the bottom left and right, built in multi outlet power strip with 2 USB charging ports. I first bought the 55 inch long model, it arrived damaged. After sending it back, I looked at numerous other computer desks. I just couldn't find anything even at twice the price, which ticked all of the boxes for what I wanted. And the 47 inch length is sufficient for me. This one suits my needs perfectly for a computer desk in a bedroom that looks stylish, not too big, not too small, and the one included feature I didn't need was the stick on LED light strip. I guess for some people that would be a cool feature. I didn't need it, gave the light strip away. One thing I didn't like about the entire desk was the LED light strip; in addition to being able to select from different colors, all green, all blue, all red, all white, you can adjust the dimmer control. This feature (dimming) did not work well at all. Each press of the button the included remote for the LED light strip, would incrementally lower the brightness. But after 1 step of brightness reduction (there were about 4 steps total) the LEDs had a flicker to them which I do not like. At full strength I didn't notice a flicker but when the brightness was dimmed 2 times out of say 4, or more than 2, it would definitely flicker. No problem for me, I didn't want the LED light strip anyway. ... show more

This desk comes with everything you need to build it, including a screwdriver and an Allen wrench. The directions made it simple to build although it was somewhat time-consuming coming from someone who’s never built something like this before. the monitor stand is perfect to keep the monitor out of the way and under it is also the perfect spot for my sound bar. the drawers also have a lot of room which should come in handy. overall, I am extremely satisfied with this desk. ... show more

I did this one by myself and it took at least 3 hours. Since it was just me I took some breaks in between so as not to make mistakes. Be patient and diligent on making sure your pieces are laid out. I suggest you figure out where your plug is and have your lights plug directly into the wall outlet. SO make sure you fix the lights with the cord closest to your plug. What you see is what you get. As in the item is exactly what you see in the pictures with no faults. I was a bit hesitant on ordering this due to the fabric drawers however they're sturdy and doesn't seem to make much of a difference.
