I have several fruit trees & large vegetable garden. Each year I seem to acquire new tools to help me process my harvest with less effort. Last year I got a juicer attachment for my kitchenaid mixer but it frequently clogged & I got frustrated with it. This juicer is AWESOME! The first thing I noticed is how heavy the box was. The juicer is very high quality. It comes with two different strainer baskets (one with fine holes & the other with larger holes). I read the manual to make sure I understood assembly, usage & cleaning, but it's actually not as complicated as my brain tried to make it. For my first test, I put in 4.5 lbs of pitted nectarines (with skin on). It couldn't hold all of them at once, but dropped more in through the hole as it ran. I got 3.5 lbs of juice out using the larger size hole strainer. The discards looked a little moist but the manual explicitly says not to re-run the discards. I put the discard in my manual food mill & got only 0.2 lbs more pulp/juice out. Overall, much faster than doing all 4 lbs in the manual food mill. Later I processed 5 lbs of tomatoes. Just chucked in tomato quarters complete with seeds & peels, using the larger mesh. It successfully separates seeds & peels! I don't have to blanch, peel & seed! Saves so much time when making tomato sauce. The large hopper holds a lot of produce. It's quieter than my blender. I used the finer mesh strainer to juice some blackberries & strawberries. Seeds successfully separated. It is easy to clean up right afterwards. Most residue just comes off with running water. No inaccessible or hard to access areas.

It's packaged beautifully! Everything individually boxed to protect it, clear and very in depth description and instructions included. The juicer itself is made of extremely good quality construction and materials. And it's fairly easy to put together and use with the included instructions. Cleaning is easy too - everything detaches and is simple to wash and wipe down. It works really well and makes amazing juice. I've done apple and orange so far. Cold press machine so everything retains it's vitamins and minerals. Noise wise I think it's fairly quiet for a juicer of this magnatude. Now obviously it's not silent...lol! But it's not an annoying level by any means. You can juice a variety of vegetables and fruits so it's very versatile. I will say it takes up a good amount of space and I'm the type that has to leave it out or I will never use it so if you are like me know it takes up a decent amount of space. But you could also pack it up every time too - if I pack it up I will put it back in the packing and store it that way because it was really well organized and sturdy. All in all - absolutely good quality for the price but clearly is a bit of an investment for a juicer. So worth the price to have fresh cold pressed juice whenever you want it. It's definitely going to get use at our house!! I lost my video of our last juicing but will update when we do it again!

first off, I have never juiced anything in my life, but I have always wanted to try. I ordered this item to give it a shot, and I am head over heels in love with this thing! It was easy to assemble, easy to figure out how to use, the motor is strong, quiet, and never once stalled. It got every last bit of fruit juiced, except maybe a quarter of a strawberry that I had to push down the shoot. I added a tiny bit of water at the end of my juicing process just to clean out the hopper, and get the last bit of juice out, and I learned it has a safety feature of turning off while opening the lid, and then it turned back on by itself when I closed the lid. I love that, because I’m famous for opening blender lids and letting contents fly around the kitchen. This item was also surprisingly easy to disassemble and clean. I hate doing dishes, and I love that this is easy to rinse off immediately after use! there were no areas where pulp got stuck. It did not leak, there are no sharp parts that I can cut myself on, because it uses a grinding technology, and the parts feel very well-made, heavy and sturdy, and the design feels well thought out. I imagine this item will last me forever with proper care. The items you see in my photos filled the hopper almost halfway and took about 15 seconds to make a delicious full tall glass of juice, and left me with about 1/3 cup of pulp, which I could use for smoothies later, but I decided to eat it as is because it was tasty! My dog even liked it for a snack! I also appreciate that a small recipe book came with this machine to get me started, but I can hardly wait to explore all my options! I was not expecting to be able to add things like nuts and potatoes, and this item is able to do that as well. I can’t find any negative thing about this item. If you can afford it, buy it! It’s awesome!

What I like 1. Hurom has a real reputation Unlike many Amazon brands that appear overnight, Hurom has been making slow juicers for decades. They're basically one of the companies that helped popularize modern masticating juicers. That gives me more confidence than a random $200 juicer claiming the same things. 2. Self-feeding hopper is a game changer This may be the biggest selling point. Traditional juicers require: • cutting produce • feeding pieces one at a time • standing there babysitting it This one lets you: • load it • walk away • let it work That makes daily juicing much more realistic. 3. Slow squeezing is gentler Compared to centrifugal juicers: Pros: • less foam • less oxidation • quieter • generally better juice yield Especially for: • celery • ginger( lol finally i can't stop paying wholefoods for juicing my ginger shots) • leafy greens • wheatgrass • cucumber This style of juicer excels. 4. Quiet operation This matters more than people think. Many cheaper juicers sound like: • blenders • shop vacuums • lawn equipment This Hurom machines tend to be surprisingly quiet. 5. Fifteen year warranty Many companies doesn't usually offer a 15 year warranty unless they're reasonably confident in the product. So this stood out to me about this brand. What I don't like 1. The price Let's be honest. $459 is a lot of money for a juicer. Especially one that doesn't come with the attachment for sorbet or ice cream(my cheaper juicer does). The listing says it can ve bought separately. I tried to but they don't have it listed in their storefront. That part should have been included with this. This isn't an impulse purchase. You can buy decent juicer, blenders, or food processors for less. The question becomes whether the convenience and quality justify the premium for you. 2. Cleaning is still cleaning Whenever I see "easy clean" I mentally translate it to: "Easier than most." And Not "No cleaning required." So You'll still need to clean well and rinse parts 3. Juice doesn't magically become healthier The marketing pushes: • more vitamins • less oxidation • fresher juice Some of that is true. But don't expect a miracle health benefits or life changing nutrition differences. The biggest benefit is that it encourages you to consume more fruits and vegetables consistently. 4. Not ideal if you juice occasionally If you're making juice: • once a month • once every few weeks This is probably overkill. Because this machine shines when used regularly. So for someone like me who takes gut healing, whole foods, and reducing processed foods it aligns well with my lifestyle. I am using it to make: celery juice, ginger shots, carrot juice, beet, etc. Now is it worth $459? Truth is for occasional users: Probably not. But for someone who juices several times per week or for a family: yes, I can see the value. My rating Quality: 5/5 Design: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Overall: 4.8/5 With my biggest drawback is simply the price. I am extremely impressed with this juicer. The self feeding hopper is one of my favorite features because it significantly reduces prep time compared to other juicers I have used. Being able to add larger pieces of fruit and vegetables without constantly chopping everything into tiny pieces makes the entire process much more convenient. The ivory color is also beautiful and gives the machine a clean, premium look that fits perfectly on the kitchen counter. The juice quality is excellent. The cold press system produces smooth, flavorful juice with very little foam, and it does a great job extracting liquid from a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.
