Description

There are two big headaches in commercial kitchen projects. The first is the gas pipeline. How to make a gas connection safely and economically? The second is kitchen cleaning. After the gas pipeline is laid, how do workers clean the ground under the gas equipment and how do they clean the back wall? Huoyanshe gas line hose connectors save you from these two challenges. The rotating end of the gas line makes installation and connection easier. Quick dis-connector allows the cleaning to be done easily in minutes. Huoyanshe gas hose is 48 inches long and 3/4 diameter, and the flexible gas line package contains 3/4 gas flex line, two elbows, full pass valve, restraining device and quick disconnect device. Our gas hose is flexible stainless steel bellows, orange PVC coating, and gas hose joints allow 360 degree rotation at both ends, making your installation process much easier. I'm super thrilled to have been able to try this gas flex hose. I'm in the process of building my own restaurant right now, Code requires that all equipment under the hood be connected with a flexible gas line just like this. When this came up as an opportunity for me to test it I jumped at the chance to grab it. The gas line was extraordinarily well built, The brass and threads were well made. The hose portion was thick and was not easily crushed. My biggest fear is pushing my equipment back in and crushing the hose behind it, There's zero chance of that happening with this hose, You could probably drive over it and not crush this thing. The only thing that I quite sold on is the safety portion which essentially shuts off all the gas supply if something goes wrong like the hose gets ripped off or something. I decided not to install that component. It is not required in my area, We are required to have an interlock between the gas and the fire suppression system in the hood. So if any problems exist in the hood and fire suppression is activated it automatically shuts the gas off. Our hoods also have flammable vapor detectors in them that would do the same thing. For those reasons I did not install the safety device that comes with this hose. I have heard and seen other restaurant owners have problems with those safety devices and have them trip accidentally in the middle of service and I did not want to risk that although I have no ability to know if this particular brand or model was affected in those problems. You should check the area that you're in to see if it is required or not. This was very simple to install, As I said before the quality is great the threads are cut nice and clean and I had no problem connecting this so that it was leaked tight. It doesn't crimp or crush behind your equipment and is plenty strong for repeated movement of your equipment in and out for many years. I was really impressed with this whole kit and especially liked the large and powerful quick connect and the super fat and bright orange gas line. Every component is good and useful in this set and really is a very nice looking gas line quick connect system. Forty-eight inch length is very good and going to be long enough for almost every kitchen and plenty to spare. I also really like the huge yet easy to thread, mirror polished stainless steel ends on this huge hose line. As a bonus they throw in a proper and nice shut-off valve and two, 304 stainless steel elbows along with the safety connector. I'd call this one worth it as it looks great, impresses the eyes and works well and comes with high quality accessories that you will actually use without really having to add anything to this. Since it covers most everything and is high quality it is in fact a great value meal deal. Urgh...Nevermind, no meal just a deal...Unless you cook yourself a meal with the new gas line you just hooked up, then it's a meal but short of that it's just a good deal. ... show more

This is a super nice gas hose! We really needed one of these so I was excited to come across this one. This came very well packed and secured and everything was exactly as described in the ad. Nothing was missing or damaged from delivery and it was all in pristine condition. All the pieces and parts are very heavy duty definitely does not feel cheap or easily breakable. My husband was able to get this installed in no time and said it was a simple and straightforward installation if you know what you are doing. Very pleased with how easy the process was as well as how well everything works. My husband's buddy is very familiar with all things gas and all the different lines and everything so he was able to check for us and make sure everything was set up properly and that there were no leaks whatsoever. Very happy with this whole process and how well this works now. If you are thinking about it just be sure to look over all the specs ahead of time so you can be 100% sure that it will work for you and as long as you do that you are good to go!     • Great hose kit for flammable gas
This is the perfect way to connect that gas appliance and know that you won't have to deal with possible leaks due to extreme angles or anything of that nature. This hose is very flexible so it works well in those tight installations. It's also well protected so you don't have to worry about nicking the line and risking the lives of everyone in a final destination scenario lol. Installation does require a few tools but it's a quick and easy set up. is so quick and easy. Regardless of that be sure to take your time and do the standard check for leaks using a spray bottle with soapy water. Outside of that you should be good to go and as always have your either natural gas leak detector or propane leak detector (depending on the appliance) going at all times just in case. The primary reason I wanted to try this was for the quick disconnect feature. I was shocked at how high quality the the hose and individual fittings and components appeared to be. I was initially worried that movement would eventually fatigue the hose or wear and crack the safety covering away but having felt this in person I have no such concerns. This hose is not as flexible as some alternative options might be but it makes up for that with resilience. I also agree with the listing that this should be easy to clean. The important fittings appear to be solid brass and the product ships with a good quality ball valve. The fitting threads look exceptionally well made and the entire kit has a solid quality feel to it. In my specific application, I need a 3/4" hose setup, the hose, the quick disconnect and the shutoff all appear to allow a mostly unrestricted flow through them.
