  • My new favorite blind
I already have 2 similar 270 degree see through blinds. There's not a huge difference in them but this one has a few small design features that I really like. I'll start with the storage/ carry bag. It has a large robust zipper that goes to about the halfway point of the bag. This makes packing it away so much easier than just stuffing it into the end like my other blinds. And, unlike the others, the zipper instead of a draw string means it closes completely and keeps small items from falling out. There are a few small things I drop into the bag with my blind so this one having a zipper immediately made me like it right out of the box. And the bag has a decent size external pocket for keeping the stakes or other items. The bag is also bigger than it needs to be so the pocket isn't so tight as to be useless like one of my other sets. Next is the back window. All of mine have this small 12x12(ish) window on the back solid wall that isn't see through. But this is the only one with a solid flap and a mesh flap. It doesn't work like the 1 way mesh of the 3 see through sides as you can see in through it but it still masks you and your movement; certainly better than just an open hole. So you can see out the back and still be fairly well concealed. And it's another barrier against mosquitoes for those of us who hunt in warm weather. The windows initially gave me mixed feelings. The pulls are not on the corners like they are with my other blinds. But what I quickly realized is this means when the top and bottom flaps overlap, you're not having to maneuver the pulls around each other making one handed operation much easier. They still stay in place well and allow a clear field of vision if you're like me and don't want to stare through the mesh for hours. They are see through, but for me it causes eye fatigue trying to look through it for any period of time. You can see in and all the way through the blind with the right back light but it's just vague shadowy figures you can see. You're still concealed pretty well. Even with the nice camouflage pattern deer can and will spot you. The blind still has straight lines that are not normal in nature and deer can pick that out quickly; I know because I've been busted enough times. You can add small branches to break up the outline of the blind. There's plenty of room to hunt with a kid or if you're a guide to sit with a client. Personally, I wouldn't want another person in there with me except my child but that's just me. You could get three in this blind but it's not going to be a comfortable hunt. With the windows all closed it blocks most wind and when it's really warm this thing feels like an oven so it does help a little with the cold during the winter months. The rope and pins that come with it are probably the weakest point of the whole set. But I don't use them anyway. These blinds stay put fairly well so if the wind is blowing hard enough to cause issues I'm probably not hunting anyway. But higher winds may be common where you hunt so I would test the included ones before you're out hunting in case you need to upgrade them. The only slightly negative thing I found about this blind is it's a little more finicky about being folded than my other ones. Still relatively easy, just not AS easy as they are. It comes with an external strap to keep it folded while you bag it. And now that we're back to the bag, its design makes packing up faster and easier. If I need a fourth blind, it'll be this model over the other ones that I buy. ... show more

  • This thing is fabulous - listing description is very accurate
The media could not be loaded. Context: I have a good set up for being in a tree, but nothing good for being on the ground. I would like an option for being on the ground with room for supplies and the comfort and protection for a long wait. I will apologize right now for the quality of the video. My camera didn't want to pick up the light through the mesh very well, but this thing has views pretty much all the way around. It has pop-down openings as needed. You can't see in from the outside unless it's dark and you turn on a light inside. You can see one of my pics with all the flaps closed... it looks opaque. The window flaps aren't loud, so you can let them down with extremely minimal noise. This thing only takes a minute or two to put up or take down (if that long). It anchors pretty securely, but you might want to improve it a little if you hunt where it's super windy. The carrying bag is nice, and the whole apparatus is light enough to drag out to the woods without really noticing. There's plenty of room in there for 2 people plus stuff. You're out of the wind and snow and can get a drink of water without alerting everything for 400 yards that you're out there. There is one drawback that is easily correctable with a separate accessory, and that is it has no blaze orange anywhere. There is an accessory that is a blaze orange roof to get the orange at eye level and has the additional benefit of even more weather protection (which it doesn't really need). My preference for some blaze orange is not remotely a fault of the product, and I'm not taking off a star for that. All in all, I love it. I would have no problem recommending this to a friend or family member, and in fact, I already have. ... show more

  • Easy Set Up
This awesome hunting blind is easy to set up, and it sets up very quickly. It only weighs about 16 pounds in the carrying bag, so you can take it with you anywhere in the woods to set up. Be sure to use the tie-downs if you want to keep the blind in your hunting spot. If a good wind hits it, it'll roll like a tumbleweed! I highly recommend this hunting blind. ... show more

  • Good Quality Blind
These blinds are so easy to get where you need them and setup. The carrying case is easy to open. Max capacity is realistically 2 adults max. I am hunting out of it with a swivel chair and a compound bow, and 2 people is kinda tight when drawing a bow.
