    • Far Exceeded Expectations
As we all know, we're never going to beat a deer's nose. Hunt the right winds, use low impact entry and exits, etc but may as well check off some easy boxes on your "scent" list where possible and a scent control bag is one of those. Purchased to replace an older (different brand) scent control bag to transport camo from the house to get dressed in the field. The other bag did the job (I think?) but wore out after years of use. I hadn't ever given any thought to what improvements it needed or features it lacked. That is until I received this. I suppose I was just expecting a bag with a zipper and some sort of double wall barrier to control/reduce odor getting into the bag. I've used it for an entire season and hunted over 25 days so have put it through a pretty good test. This bag has some great features at an great price. I paid $26.99 with Prime and if I'd seen this bag in person before buying and it had a price tag of $49.99 I would have thought that completely reasonable seeing all the features in this bag. First it is incredibly large (still pliable enough to compact down and not take up space if only partially full). We always have a huge swing in temps (can be 60s to single digits) during the Sept thru Dec bow season in KS. I can carry two sets of camo (1 being a really bulky cold weather set), 2-3 sets of base layers, several hats, pairs of gloves, etc. Basically more than enough to cover any weather conditions with room to spare. No need to check weather the night before and swap out camo weights based on forecasts. This is a camo "go bag". Easy to carry, long handles to sling over shoulder. Double zipper system and pretty smartly placed velcro strips at top of inner gusset wall to keep the walls close together and bag compact after compressing bag to remove air. Large, easy to use zipper pulls even in gloves and easy to find/see (they are bright yellow) in the dark, material seems durable, inside of bag is bright yellow which helps to sort through clothes in the dark without a headlight, bright yellow accents on outside of bag. Not much I can find lacking in this bag. When you see this in person it has the features/materials and feel of a bag that would cost double. Highly recommend for the features and price. ... show more

The bag is huge! I keep Men's XL heavy coat and bibs along with all base layers and hats/gloves etc in this bag with room to spare. I could probably drop my boots in it also. Everything is right there contained and safe from the smells of the cabin when not hunting. Carry it out to the porch and suit up when its time to go. Managing my scent and keeping me organized. For 20sum bucks it has just made things easier than digging through plastic tubs. ... show more

I have done some hunting and know many guys who hunt. I was preparing for a three-week trip in bear country and decided to transport my food in one of these. The zippers seal up well and as the food supply dwindles the size can get smaller. This bag kept all my non-cooler-related food safe in the vehicle or bear boxes in some remote bear-infested areas. I got the big one and bet if you needed to transport meat in your pack through bear country, this would provide an excellent container for that. Plenty of storage room to store all my hunting gear as well as my insulated hunting boots. Double zipper system keeps everything as close to air tight as you could get without a vacuum seal. I take my hunting clothes straight out of the dryer and put them in here and have not any issues with getting busted. But of course I still hunt the wind you can't rely on any scent control / scent eliminator product to allow a deer to be directly down wind of you and not smell you. Product is really noisy material (reason for 4 stars) but overall I'm fully satisfied and will continue to store my hunting gear inside it! ... show more

When I was first starting to hunt, I was washing my clothes in scent-free detergent, drying the clothes, and vacuum sealing them in one of those big ziplock storage bags to keep scent off of them. I found this and everything has gotten so much easier. Now I wash and dry my clothes and throw them in this bag with a fresh earth scent wafer. I hunted all last season without cover scent and never had an issue of not seeing deer or getting caught because of scent. I can also throw my worn clothes back into the bag after a hunt and they will be smelling like fresh earth again for the next hunt providing I wasn't sweating. Besides how well this bag works, it's big, very big. I can fit multiple shirts, pants, socks, a pair of thick coveralls, my Bogs boots, a hat, 2-3 face masks, and other little things like deodorant inside this bag at one time. With one or two scent wafers in the bag, everything will be smelling like fresh earth. If you are a hunter, buy this bag if you have a lot of clothes, worried about scent, or want to reduce costs by using scent wafers. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My hubby hunts out of state every year and I was looking for a hunting bag that would PROTECT his hunting clothes from scents and that would NOT get wet if he threw bag in back of his truck! These bags are HUGE and hold TONS of hunting clothes! I bought 2 of these! They hold even the heavy weight fleece and wool hunting jackets and pants!!!! ... show more
