Formed of natural rubber, each pair is made from 28 hand-cut parts and assembled over three days on an aluminium last bespoke to Hunter, before being vulcanized for superior protection. Featuring the Hunter Original tread pattern, and a comfortable polyester lining, this classic matte waterproof boot is a rainy- day necessity. We recommend that all Hunter boots be worn with socks to protect the wearer's skin from contact with rubber. All Hunter Boot Socks are specially designed for use with our boot range and feature a fold over top to cover the rubber and nylon boot edge, preventing any rubbing associated with wear. The fit and look of these boots are great! Unfortunately when I walked around in them they made a loud squeaky noise. I talked to another friend that has these boots and she said they do not squeak. When I contacted the company to have an exchange, the representative (Joe) was very pleasant. However, he said that, in order to get a replacement, I would need to purchase them again. Instead of being $85 (what I paid originally), they are now $125. I requested a price match and they said they would not do it. If you were to return a defective product to a store, you would not be charged extra to replace it. I am very unhappy with this company. Not good customer service from my experience! ... show more

I work somewhere that has yellow as a main color in its logo so I bought the yellow boots. I bought these to wear to work on rainy days. The females at work were poking fun and making fun of me, but I every single Male who sees them compliments them. I get asked questions everywhere I go. I wear them about once a week but people have started to ask me why I don't wear them more and tell me they really wish I'd wear them. Now that it's been a few weeks the females have started to also tell me they love them. Guys take pictures to show their wife's that they need to buy them. They are high quality and work well for keeping me dry. Being so high on my leg means I stay warmer too. I'm usually somewhere between an 8.5 and 9 abs have wide calves. These fit fine but are hard for me to get on and off in a size 8. I also think I couldn't wear thick socks If I chose too. Happy with purchase, might buy other colors! ... show more

I bought these after contemplating other rubber rain boots. They’re waterproof super cute, bright yellow, the only thing I wasn’t expecting was how tight they are in the calf. I couldn’t wear jeans with them, only leggings. They are starting to stretch and be a little more comfortable. Only had these a few months and they’ve already started leaking. Hoped to have nice waterproof boots entering the winter months as I have farm animals and need to feed them during rain.
