I wore these boots entirely throughout weeks in the Alaskan wilderness. Knowing Hunter boots to be more of a “fashion/fancy” boot, I was a bit worried about how they would hold up. I am very glad to say that they held up flawlessly. These boots were taken up and down mountains, along rocky shores, treading through seaweed/seashell-covered tides, through calf-deep mud, through forests, climbed boulders, gripped well along algae-covered rocks, jumped along roots, and hiked what seems like endless miles of some of the roughest terrain I’ve been on, and not only did my feet stay completely dry, but they were the epitome of comfort! 2 others in my group were also wearing Hunter boots and I can say the exact same for them as well. We all had great success putting our Hunter boots through the ultimate test. I wore mine with the Hunter luxury shearling insoles along with a pair of merino wool socks, and the combination was astounding. My feet were always comfortable, dry, never hot, never cold, never achey, with this combination in my boot. I am normally a size 7.5, I sized up to an 8 so that I could have room with the shearling insole and wool socks and it was a perfectly comfortable fit in combination. All this said.. they also looked amazing with our hiking clothes. The height of the boot was perfect for staying comfortable in every situation. In every way, I recommend these boots!!

These are the classic Hunter short (midcalf) boots, with the thickened area around the front of the ankle where it has to bend a lot. I have other pairs I bought elsewhere, and was wearing one out, so I bought these. I wish they had been the right size; they were beautiful, excellent boots with a quality sole. They are just too loose; when UK sizing is converted to US, it doesn’t always line up! I downsized to a 9 from the 10 I had ordered, and now they’re perfect… I use mine roughly, like they were intended, doing all my garden and landscape work in them. They’re super comfortable and fit me even with a pair of reinforced cotton socks; my usual US size is 9.5, so they do run a touch big if you’re between sizes. I can work in these for hours without any discomfort.

I searched for a week to find a pair of Hunter rain boots that were marked down. I always loved how Hunter boot looked, but I was hesitant to spend the money. When I received the boots, they were in a generic boot box. Brand new, no signs of wear. I bought size 10 based on reviews, I usually wear 10.5-11. I was hesitant to size down, I’ve done it before based on reviews and ended up returning for A bigger size. The size 10s fit perfectly, just enough extra room for a slight bit of wiggle room. They are comfortable enough to walk through the zoo the second time that I wore them. Only negative is that The buckle thing on the side is weird. It doesn’t easily lay flat but it’s not obviously weird looking either. TL;DR they might actually be worth the cost

These are excellent rubber rain/waterproof boots. I have to walk dogs in all weathers, and with these I can go right through mud, damp, and deep puddles with no problem. They're lightweight for rubber boots, compared to other brands I've tried, and they're great for walking in right out of the box. I didn't have to break them in at all. However, they do run a bit large, at least for me. I ordered my regular size, and I had to put in an insole to make them fit better. But with the insole, they're the best fitting rubber boots I've had. Highly recommended.

Nice Boot for fall, and to work in the garden, comfortable, non slip and love the color. A bit pricey but they are the only rain boots I have had that don't crack or split, so worth the extra money 😉
