These have a sturdy, quality substance to them. They are a lovely traditional red. The Amazon suggested size would have been to big. I measured my foot, found the exact insole size matching my foot, and went up one. Perfect with a tad of room for socks if needed. Really like them.

I’d been longing for a pair of Hunters for years, but could never justify spending so much money on rain boots. After much contemplation, I finally bit the bullet and bought a pair and I’m so glad I did! They are well worth the money. They arrived surprisingly fast (I ordered them on Saturday night and they were here by Tuesday afternoon), which was a bonus. I absolutely love the red (side note: if you’re like me and live in neutral colors, I’d suggest buying a fun-colored pair to add a pop of color to any outfit. Believe it or not, the red ones go with just about everything in my wardrobe and I know I will get a lot of wear out of them) and they feel much sturdier than any other rain boots I’ve ever owned. I normally wear an 8.5, but I ordered an 8 and they fit great. I have wide calves (about 14.5”), so I was concerned they would be too tight, but they look and feel just fine (there isn’t much room to spare, but they’re comfortable and don’t cut off my circulation). I’m very happy I decided to invest in a pair and even happier that I saved $50 by ordering them on Amazon!

Okay, I love Hunter boots! These were cute and I purchased a size 8 I only did prime try before you buy because I wanted to see what size would fit me and a size 8 absolutely did not. It was way too big for me.. I am a size 7 1/2. I think that a size 7 would probably be better for me. I did not keep these. I will say that they were in really good condition when I got them nothing seemed wrong with them but I could tell other people had tried them on too. I didn’t rate it full stars because I don’t like the sizing system they’re huge for absolutely no reason.

March 18, 2020: My boots came in! I wear a size 9 wide in women. I have calves that are 16-17 inch. depending if they are flexed or not. I bought the size 10, after hours researching different product reviews online. I wanted to wear socks so I thought the 10 would have space. It worked ! I put them on without socks and my foot had lots of space. With the socks my toes still have space but still fit fine. I have semi flat feet and my foot felt cushioned too. It was a little snug at the calf when standing but I could still tuck in my pants so they would not get wet. I walked outside in the rain, and inside a commercial building and had good traction. My feet were warm. The boots were comfortble. I had to sit down to remove them using both hands. But the yellow is beautiful and bold. I love this boot!
