These boots are a little tight when first slipping them on, the elastic around the ankle is Good, and a nice fit once on! The important thing is that I’m able to drive while wearing them as opposed to the long boot-which restricted my range of foot motion. Love them, comfortable to wear & I can walk all over in the PNW rain, we have a lot of it in Seattle! Bought for my college-bound daughter to brave the wet Boston fall weather. She absolutely loves the look, and the fit was excellent considering she is usually hard to fit (women's size 11 with narrow feet and a high arch).

Love these! Very comfortable. Little tight around the ankle is the only thing. True to size. I’m normally a 7 1/2. The 7 fits with normal socks. Thick socks make it a little tight. So if your planning on wearing think socks. Size up.

    • Don’t get red, but definitely get a pair in any other color!
They are comfortable and high quality! I’d advise against getting red though...I thought they would look cute with leggings or jeans and a red top, but they look like Ronald McDonald shoes. Other than that, they are fantastic!

Def don't be like me and not check reviews on them first :( Style wise these boots are the absolute cutest! They look so good with jeans or leggings. Unfortunately this style of boot tends to have a very narrow opening. That is great for keeping the boot secure on foot but it cuts into the back and sides of my ankles when wearing them. AFAIK I have an average size ankle but I def have to wear long socks and bandaids so they do not rub my skin raw. The things I do for fashion! That being said i do love them but for me, personally, they are not boots I would go hiking in or walking long distances, etc. ... show more

I did not think these were going to work. I wanted to be able to wear them without socks and based on other reviews I gathered that wasn’t going to be possible but wanted to give them a try. I wore them the first time without socks and as others have said, I ended up with irritated places on my ankles. But I really wanted these to work - the tall boots don’t look good on my wide calves and the mid-calf boots hit the wrong place on me b/c I’m short. So, I wore these with thin crew socks and they are great! The height of the boots hit my ankle skinny jeans perfectly without the socks showing. The boots are comfortable.
