I got these for my boyfriend because they are stylish and manly! It rains a lot, and the Chelsea boot was too short. This covers the ankle and allows you to tuck in your pants so they will stay dry too! The only, but largest issue is that when we received the boots, they were scuffed. Husband loves these boots. Great quality. Cheaper through Amazon than the pair we originally bought directly from Hunter. I was annoyed with Hunter because minutes after I ordered the first pair, I discovered a 10% discount that I could have gotten and they refused to honor it since I had already placed the order. I think the last time I owned a pair of rain boots was probably when I was a small child. I finally bought a pair as an adult and these things are comfortable. I am impressed with these Hunter boots and can't wait to splash around in puddles when the rain comes back :) I'm a happy and satisfied customer. I am an 8.5 so I initially purchased a 9 to accommodate socks and all, but turns out these run half a size large and was floppy when walking in them. 8 fits well, though a little narrow with thick socks. Can’t wait till use them in the snow and rainy days.
