I absolutely love it! The curls are incredibly soft and beautiful, just as I hoped they would be. The length is exactly as described, and the hair doesn’t tangle at all. This was my first time doing boho braids on myself, and I’d say that the hair was okay in terms of quality. If I decide to try this style again, I will most likely choose a different vendor. If you’re going the DIY route and don’t want to waste money, this is a good starting point. Color: I purchased 1B in the 14 & 18-inch lengths, however the hair in both bundles had as a red/brown hue which more apparent after washing and drying, I also found silver strands of hair throughout the 18-inch bundle and the texture/behavior of the strands makes me question if the entire bundle is 100% human hair. The silver strands had a plastic-like feel. WASH HAIR BEFORE BRAIDING: The hair does not have smell right out of the package, but after wetting, it gives off an old-school hairspray smell. The smell slightly lingers even after shampooing three times with hot water. After conditioning and drying, the smell is not noticeable. The hair is also appears ‘dirty’ when washing which could be from handling or oils added after processing. Overall: Nice quality, doesn’t tangle as long as it’s properly maintained. Minimal shedding. The texture is very soft, so it is prone to slipping, but over the course of two weeks, I only lost three curls. I would like to note that on my first order of 14-inch bundles, I found what appeared to be a bug in the packaging. I initiated a return and was promptly refunded by the seller who advised me to toss the hair so that it would not be sold to a different customer. So, good customer service.
