at first I didn't want to leave review, but what the heck. I am a male that works in the construction field and being out side every day in the elements we need something that is going to keep us warm. I have tried the thermals, didn't like because they just didn't work!! what really works is something that's going to fit tight because that's whats going to keep the heat in. I have tried them all! But after trying these I now am sold. these work great!! not to tight, not too loose, but just right. by the way, I am 5ft11 and about 175. you can not go wrong with these. who the hell cares if they say for woman!! if it works and keeps you warm when you are on top of a building and the wind chill is kicking. what more do I need to say.

Good quality. BUT A WORD OF CAUTION - I have found that sizes run small. I'm 5'5" tall and weigh about 140 lbs., but I have to buy size 4, which supposedly can fit women up to 6' tall and weighing up to 250 lbs. If I got a size smaller than a 4, I wouldn't be able to squeeze into them. In fairness, this has always been true for me for ALL hose and tights - I have to get a much bigger size than advertised. I finally figured out that it's probably because my legs are long for my height, but even so I find it weird. Others may have a different experience.

So I guess these are called opaque tights but they are still a little sheer. Not like completely see through but you can definitely see a bit of leg through them. I actually meant to get tights on the more sheer size anyways so I’m not complaining. They seem to be of fine quality. They’re just tights.

I wear tights all the time in the winter months. In recent years, I’ve started buying them when they’re on sale at J. Jill after loving a pair I got while shopping with my mother a few years back. Finding myself in need of a few new pairs of black tights, and since I was already on Amazon to pick up a few things, I decided to try these tights, having seen the HUE brand in multiple stores. These were the cheapest pair of tights I think I’ve ever owned. The fabric felt horrible - not at all silky like my J. Jill tights. I wasn’t sure of sizing so I purchased a size up and they fit horrible in the waist and hips. I’m not even sure these are worth the trouble of returning. I might just trash the pair I had on and donate the two pairs still in their original packaging. I guess you guess you get what you pay for and these tights feel and wear as cheap as their price tag. Never again.

I like it. I normally don’t wear tights just because I don’t wear skirts/dresses but it’s winter and I still want to look fashionable. There is absolutely no size chart from where I was looking at so choosing a size was such a pain. But I stood by size 3 and they fit! I’m 40 inches in hips and 27-28 inches in waist. I wear large in pants but medium in skirts. 5’2 and 150 lbs. They fit me well. I expected it to be a little more opaque but they’re quite sheer. But they feel thick and sturdy. It’s a good buy.
