In Feb. 2023 I took it upon myself to replace our generic plain ss flatware. I had never heard of this company, but I read a lot of reviews. I took the plunge and ordered the 12 sevice set of chrome-like dimpled finish with the added serving utensils. They arrived packaged beautifully( I still have the box over a year layer.) These were stunning right out of the box. But would they hold up, especially the knives, would they rust? I gladly report after a year and 1/2 there os no rust on these knives. Despite leaving them submerged for extended amounts of time. The weight is great. They are a little heavier, but it makes me feel as if I am holding quality right in my hand. My only problem is that My wife and kids tend to accidentally throw them away, and now I need more. Well, even if I did not logically want to match what I had, even if they were all gone, I would without reservation buy thid exact flatware. A+++. ... show more

Have only had this set for a few days, but love it so far. Not only is it a service for 12 but it comes with 8 bonus serving pieces. The cake knife is very long!! I really like that the flatware handles are more flat than rounded, this helps with stacking and fitting them into my drawer utensil holder. The pieces are also pretty and should complement any decor. I have seen some other reviewers comment on a piece or two showing a minor rust spot - I can't comment on that one way or the other yet as I haven't used the set long enough. We were purchasing new dish sets, and I realized our present flatware would look very dull now - plus, it was from IKEA, so it wasn't the greatest to begin with. A friend had just gotten flatware from a big-name store and paid a fortune, but I admired their sturdiness, so hearing these pieces had some weight to them was as important as the look and price. I love the hammered handles and how they feel smooth yet sturdy in your grip. UPDATE: Contacted customer support and got an immediate response. Hudson made it right and their service was AMAZING. Great communication & prompt resolution. Initially gave 1 star due to rust problem. Bumped up to 4 for great customer service. If this new set holds up I will bump up to 5 stars. Do not buy! These are not even 2 mos old now and the first 2 wks they started rusting and it is only getting worse. I did just reach out to customer service and received an immediate response.
