All baby blankets are soft, but this one feels almost luxurious. I wish they made adult blankets that felt like this. I purchased this as my daughter's "coming home" blanket, and she's now 3-months-old. It's been spit up on and washed several times without issue. The furry pink fabric on the backside of the blanket hasn't shed at all, as I was somewhat concerned about. One if my best baby blankets especially for the cold weather! Initially I thought I would return the product as I noticed the furs were pulling out of the fabric but after washing it and putting in the dryer all got cleared away. Now I enjoy my baby blanket! It is soft with beautiful print!
