I bought two farm-themed swaddle blankets from Amazon, this "Hudson Brand" -- sold and shipped by Amazon-- and "Imagine" brand-- sold by Planet Wise, shipped by Nikki's Diapers. I love them both for different reasons so I'm writing one review comparing them. This "Hudson Brand" swaddler is cotton muslin. It is light, airy, and guaze-like. It is see-thru and doesn't have any stretch. The whimsical pattern has soft, muted colors. It is very large- at 46" x 46"-- and is perfect for swaddling, cuddling, tummy time, etc. This one comes in a three pack with a blue gingham one and one with red tractors. One downside is that the larger weave on this snags easily so be careful around your jewelry! The "Imagine" brand swaddler is bamboo rayon, it's soft and almost silky. It is not see-thru, and does have a slight stretch. The cartoonish pattern is bright and colorful. It is also very large-- at 50" x 45"-- and is perfect for a car seat or nursing cover, snuggling, etc. ... show more

they’re a decent size. They just aren’t very soft, other muslin blankets are incredibly soft. It makes these seem almost rough. Also didn’t realize that one of the patterns looks like a bunch of fried eggs.

When I first took these blankets out of the package, I was surprised because they seemed a bit scratchy / stiff. However, I think they are softening up since being used and washed a few times now. They are quite lightweight, but they still seem to be warm enough for my newborn girls to sleep in. They're not a stretchy as some other swaddle blankets, but they create a great swaddle - snug, smooth and perfectly tight. Great for snuggling newborns, or even catching spit up or milk dribbles in a pinch :) Great swaddle blankets overall. I gave four stars in total just because they're not quite as soft as I expected. ... show more

These are actually amazing, they are thin but not see through, they’re breathable, and they’re super soft. I am just amazed by the quality and they’re a decent size. I usually use these whenever I’m breastfeeding to cover myself and it’s really nice because it lets the light In so I can see what I’m doing and they aren’t see through which is super nice. Baby loves to be swaddled with these since they’re pretty fresh. So overall it’s a good buy I would totally recommend Five month update. These are actually my favorite blankets I have for my son, he still hasn’t outgrown them like he did most. I like that it’s thick enough to keep him warm at night. I’m literally about to buy more Another update: So I bought the foxes print of this blanket and I was quite confused bc the quality was different compared to the Aztec print I bought a while back. I liked the Aztec bc it was a bit thicker than most Muslim swaddles but I mean I guess ... show more

I love that I was able to find muslin swaddle blankets that aren't so expensive, but are still soft! They aren't as soft as his Aden blanket, but I was able to get these for a fraction of the cost and they are still soft. I'm sure if I wash them more they will get softer just like his other muslin. (I should note I got his Aden muslin blanket from my friend after her baby was older so that makes a HUGE difference. Not sure what a brand new one is like). I have gotten several compliments on how cute the fox and arrow blanket are. I also love that I was able to find a print that went with his woodland themed nursery. Most Aden blankets were either girly or had jungle or sea animals. Note about the price, I keep this pinned on my baby registry and kept my eye on them to go down I price since I saw them for less then $10 at one time and didn't but them. I waited until they dropped really low again and then bought them. They did take quite awhile to get here but I didn't mind waiting for these adorable ones! ... show more
