Great socks for the price! They are not super thick which will be great for summer time. I do prefer lightweight for summer as I just find them more comfortable. Will be cute with sneakers, loafers, and slip ons like Birks. I found the packaging to be a hoot. Socks came flat, vacuum sealed, and in a thin box. I bought these socks for my collegiate wrestling daughter who, despite being tough and athletic, still has a sweet and sassy side. I love these socks! Seriously, I stopped wearing socks generally because most socks don't feel good on my feet. They are all too thick, too tight, and come in that awkward crew length that cuts into my calf above my ankle. These are thin, not adding half a shoe size to my foot. They keep my feet warm on these cold days, despite being thin. They fit the length of my foot perfectly, no strange "heel" sticking out of my shoe above my actual heel. It doesn't squeeze my foot or ankle and doesn't leave any marks on my skin, like every other pair of socks I own! The big test - the toe seam: I can barely feel it across my toes, even inside my shoe. The added detail of the ruffle makes me feel cute & feminine even in my most sporty sneakers. I have washed & worn them several times and there's no shrinking and they still look and feel brand new. I like them so much, I bought a pack in a range of browns! I'll be back for the multi-color pack! And I'll be tossing some of my old, uncomfortable socks. ... show more
