The stuff ain't no joke. This is professional grade material. The adhesive is unbelievably sticky, and will adhere to essentially anything. I do not recommend this for a one-person job unless you are doing a completely flat surface with no lips. It tends to bunch up and get stuck to itself, and it takes a megawatt of energy to get it unstuck if that happens. That's no fault of the product though. It actually makes me feel better that it's going to be sealed for a really long time! It's really easy to cut and install, otherwise. Go slow and methodical.

This stuff is a game changer for camper roofs.. when you put this down, it does not come up!! I would highly recommend if you’re putting down a big piece to have help. Four smaller pieces such as my tip out that I used it on I was able to do that myself.. very heavy material! Watch the tutorial video on how to install makes better sense then trying to explain the in writing.. excellent product! I’d highly recommend it.

self adhesive is perhaps the most egregious understatement in the history of understatements! First things first. I picked a hot day to lay this out, I had originally planned on a flatter roof, but that just wasn't in the cards as the build project kept going. So the things to know. Once this is stuck, it is stuck. you MAY be able to get some of it up a little bit, but understand that you will need to be certain when pulling the under plastic off. Second, and this is critical. take the utmost care in removing the plastic backing, and DO NOT get the back side of the plastic backing on the adhesive. it is next to impossible to get it off once stuck. It is NOT that easy to install. One thing I did was cut strips and reinforce the corners before laying down the primary to ensure the best waterproofing. IF you have a sloping roof, do not stand in one spot on the roofing material once you lay it down, because it WILL move a little. (mine moved back pretty quickly, but it is something to think about. ALSO, if rolling this out on a hot bright sunshiny day? do not kneel down on the black rubber with bare skin... OUCH That stuff is hot! So all of this being said, I believe this roof will last forever, and even though it is not the cheapest roofing material out there, I believe we all get what we pay for, and I am very happy to have this on my roof. Watch videos before you start. And if your doing large pieces GET HELP unless you have 3 or 4 hands !!! Sticky and strong are UNDERSTATEMENTS!!! THINK FLY PAPER STICKY !!! If the sticky sides make contact hope it's just a small piece !!!! It's easier pull small pieces apart than larger sections . I only did one 4 ft x 16 foot sheet and by the end I felt like I figured it out. Wish I'd known then what I know now !!!! Learn from my mistakes !!! Start in a corner with about one foot stuck to the roof. Place yourself in front of the still rolled up roll and work toward yourself in small strips, like a foot at a time. And cut off the excess non sticky lines as you go. Because it will stick where you don't want it to. Get a second set of hands to help !!!! Would be much easier.
