This review is being done one day post assembly. For the price, this is a very nice looking, useful and sturdy desk. I like the two file drawers (files go sideways, not front to back in the drawer) and four smaller drawers for my office stuff. This L-shaped desk provides enough top space to accommodate my all-in-one computer and keyboard with extra workspace. I also like the shelf that is under one of the sides of the desk. Good spot for storing extra stuff and for placing my electrical strip. This desk is sturdy weighing a bit over 130 lbs. The laminate appears to be of very high quality. Time will tell regarding durability. You must have patience if you are planning to assemble this desk yourself. There are many parts. Plan on spending a very full afternoon of your time. At first it may seem overwhelming, but you will be rewarded with a very nice desk if you chill out and take it one step at a time. Read the instructions carefully - several times. Really focus on the pictures in the directions as they are quite good. There are separate assembly instructions depending on your decision to have the short leg of the desk on the right or left side. The T-handle allen wrench provided is helpful. The provided screwdriver is inadequate. I used a combination of a regular phillips head screwdriver and a screw bit on a battery powered drill. The fit and finish are very good. All the holes for screws, etc. lined up well. The top and drawers fit together nicely. I highly recommend laying out all the desk pieces in a separate room placing like parts together and then take the parts to the room where you are going to place the desk for the actual assembly. All parts for assembly are labeled well. If you are looking for a low-priced desk that looks and functions well, this desk is a great choice. ... show more

Many many parts to this desk that took hours to assemble, however, the instructions are well written so it went smoothly. The instructions states that it takes two people to assemble, but I managed it on my own. Quality desk for the money. Would recommend to anyone.

Solid desk that's a good size and sturdy enough for two computers. Definitely use your own screwdriver for it, though - the one that comes with the kit is painful to turn and strips out quickly.

First of all I would give 5/5 for packaging. The delivery company did their best to ruin the product the way they literally threw the heavy package in the middle of my driveway in heavy snow day. I had to drag it in my garage and package was visible damaged from outside. I was almost sure that something will be damaged inside but upon opening that was not the case and that was due to the thoughtful packaging. The assembly is extremely easy as the frame is mostly made of metal and all holes were properly aligned. All cams were good quality (my tip: do not use machine screw driver and don’t over-tighten anything) In the end the table came out beautiful. The drawers open/close smoothly. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a good looking and practical table on a budget. ... show more

This desk is perfect. There are a lot of parts to this desk that need to be assembled, It says it takes 2 people to put it together, yes but because I am a stubborn old lady I did find a way to put it together myself. It is perfect for in the corner.
