The media could not be loaded. I’ve seen lots of comments comparing these drapes to West Elm or Pottery Barn velvet drapes. I did purchase pottery barn 100% cotton velvet drapes a few years ago so I can easily compare the quality between the two. First of all: the color. Burnt pumpkin is more like pumpkin spice. It’s a wonderfully warm cinnamon orange. I tried to video the drape and flow of the velvet and how the color shimmers like velvet even though it’s not cotton. The black-out lining is not cotton and has an ever so slight rustle to it but the black out feature is super important, especially with the summers we are having. I can set aside the sound of the lining rustling in exchange for it’s hard work keeping heat and light out of the room. The header is versatile in that it can use clip on rings or drapery hooks but I love the back tabs since it gives the velvet a clean gather and isn’t bunched up. I read a lot of reviews about the length and the width not being uniform and I found that to be true. I had to send one panel back since it was s full 2 inches less wide than the other panels. The replacement arrived in 2 days and was only off by a half inch lol. Because these are mass produced drapes and not custom, I can be cool about a half inch difference. The lengths also vary by 1/4 inches. As with the linen sheers I bought to go along with these drapes, I got around that common problem by buying the 96” length so the drapes would puddle and the lengths therefore wouldn’t really matter. The effect is beautiful. All in all, these drapes are perfect and luxurious for very little money. In fact, I wish I had found these before I dropped the hundred and hundreds that I spent on the pottery barn velvet drapes. ... show more

The color title is hugely misleading. It is NOT "Hunter Green" but THE MOST BEAUTIFUL mossy, taupe, mushroomy brownish, olive color! My poor photography skills do not do it justice! Beautiful weighted bottoms. Quality stitching. GENEROUSLY sized back tabs and rod pockets suitable for heavier thicker wooden curtain rods. I ordered two more as to get a fuller look on my windows. They are room darkening. Up close, you will see that these are not like real cotton velvet, but the nap is so very fine and dense you must be up close and personal to see. The big wow factor is the color! It is a natural olivine found in nature. Romantic, woodsy, mossy, soft, and sophisticated. I trusted the other posters and I am so glad I did. The height of my windows would lend itself to 85", but I went with the longer 96" based on other buyers noting how soft and easily the fabric "pooled" and "puddled" to the floor. I am glad I went with the extra length as it is just the look I wanted for my bedroom. 🙂 If you are looking for soft, nature inspired color tones.....this is your curtain at 1/3 the cost of Pottery Barn or West Elm! ♡♡♡ ... show more

I’ve ordered several blackout curtains over the years, and this one truly delivers on both style and function. The Fool’s Gold velvet has a rich, warm golden tone that instantly elevates the room. It feels heavy, substantial, and much more high-end than typical polyester panels. The velvet texture catches the light beautifully during the day, yet at night it creates a dramatic, cozy backdrop. In terms of performance, these live up to their “blackout” claim. Even in a bright room with large east-facing windows, they block nearly all outside light and noticeably reduce heat transfer. The lining is thick without being stiff, and it adds a layer of insulation that I could feel within a day or two. Perfect for bedrooms where complete darkness is important. Installation was simple. The panel offers multiple hanging options — rod pocket, back tabs, or hook belt — so you can choose the look you prefer. I used the back tabs for a tailored ripple effect, and the drape hangs evenly without puckering. Be aware that the panels are sold individually, not as a pair, so measure carefully for your window width. A couple of notes: these are dry clean only, and you’ll want a steamer or light ironing on low to relax the folds from packaging. Also, curtain hooks are not included if you plan to use the hook belt option. Overall, this curtain combines designer-level appearance, true blackout capability, and quality craftsmanship. This actually the second time I have bought these curtains. I bought set of 4 burgandy panels ones in 2017 and loved them! I loved the color, the thickness, the blackout and it was amazing how much it blocked the cold from coming in from our old windows. So when we changed the colors in our living room we ordered these again! This time we got the dark blue and I still love them! I will say the newer ones are a bit thinner than the old ones. But the color is consistent, the texture is nice, and they function as black out curtains. I will say that when it's bright outside the blue is dark enough it almost looks black. If I were to do it again I might have gotten a lighter shade, but that's personal preference. Thanks for a great product! ... show more
