I returned because the printer was scuffed. When I ordered the replacement, I realized that the one I returned was actually used because it wasn't packaged in any shrink wrap and other padding as was the replacement printer. I'm so glad that I returned the first one I ordered! As for the printer's functions: print quality is clear, not as fast as a laser printer but quicker than my old HP Envy printer that just stopped working for no apparent reason. Slightly noisy when taking in and putting out paper. Ink doesn't last too long and I'm not a heavy printer. An automatic ink delivery subscription option is available at different prices depending on the amount of prints you tend to or estimate you'll yield. ... show more

Will not work well with Apple products. They give you an app to solve the problem, but even with the app there are functions on the printer that will not work with Apple products.

I have always been an HP printer fan, but this one is awful. It is incredibly slow in printing and drinks ink like there’s no tomorrow! At nearly $60 for a tri color XL cartridge it is very expensive to use! Would NOT recommend any HP that uses one tricolor cartridge instead of the previous individual color cartridges. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Had an epson workforce all in one before & that one printed so well....but my print head colors clogged up & it was bulky so I purchased this one. First of all, the print quality is a nightmare. Right off the box it was printing with lines, cleaned thru all the cleaning options it has, aligned printhead, did the whole service thing which btw wasted over half of my ink just by attempting to print the 1 print, & the cleaning, & the reprint which still wasnt great. If it wasnt the lines it was the color that was horrendous. (Picture with lines was my first attempt. The faded one was after my cleaning attempts I thought maybe it needed special hp photo paper to work so I went & bought specifically hp photo paper. Nope. Still horrible. Tried matte paper, glossy photo paper, tried printing it from tray 1, tried printing it from tray 2. Tried it all. The lines are still there, although a little less noticeable but still visible. Its just, ughh! I had a few pics to frame for my family gifts, but its not happening with this printer. this was the worst purchase (& ive made pretty bad purchases) that I could've done. I really expected better from hp. Oh & just added note, my ink is now gone from test prints & cleaning. Didn't get not 1 with acceptable quality. Wasted almost a whole 10 pack of photo paper. Wish I could return it but unfortunately I wasn't able to set it up for about a month after receiving it. I was moving into my new office space & I had to wait for the desk, etc to arrive. I'm not that bright about that part, I know. But anyways, save your money. This printer is not the one. ... show more
