Update: What started out being a terrific monitor, there is some sort of issue - the monitor starts up in a slightly different resolution, which gives a slightly distorted view. To my discovery, if I put the computer to sleep & then restart - the monitor works perfectly, not distorted. It didn't do this in the beginning. I've been in touch with Hp support but... My own conclusion is likely - I'm combining newer tech with older, my years old desktop, perhaps its a graphics card issue and/or my os, Win7. Love the monitor, after working with a 15 inch monitor for many years I got this one. Works great, color's good, setup's easy, monitor standard works nicely & sturdy. My only whine would be the very tiny adjustment buttons that are mounted on the bottom edge of the screen. I haven't really figured them out yet but I did find the brightness adjustment button so I'm good to go. ... show more

I was very disappointed that Amazon tried to offer me a discount after I asked them for a return label.
