As someone new to home foundry, this setup is a lifesaver. I've been using the smaller 1kg graphite crucible to melt down old gold necklaces, and the PID controller makes sure I don't overheat anything. It’s super stable on my workbench and the safety mesh gives me peace of mind. This is the most comprehensive melting kit you can get for the price. Instead of forcing you to choose or buy extras, they give you both the 1kg and 3kg crucibles right out of the box. It gives you so much flexibility depending on how much metal you need to melt that day. It runs super clean with no open flames, sits firmly on the desktop, and the handles make it easy to store away when cool. Perfect for both small-batch jewelry and bigger DIY casts.
