The first time my daughter went skating she fractured her wrist. I searched many pad after that event. Discovered this brand and they were having a promotion. I ended up buying the medium and a large for my kids. Medium fit perfectly on my son and the large what is comfortable on my daughter. They get used at least once a month. I use these riding a Vsett 10 scooter cruising on average 35mph. Some moron pulled in front of me and I clipped his back quarter panel at 35mph wearing these pads and they saved soooo much of my skin from peeling off my body. What you see pictured are the right side elbow and knee pads that took the brunt of the pavement. The wrist guard did its best and I only got a fracture though I scrunched my hand into the van. Prior to the wreck the knee guards were already ripping apart just from regular use after 2 months, right at the top of the pad where the elastic strap is sowed to it. I was still using them but because of this tear the pad didnt protect well above the knee and the van's sheet metal gouged me pretty good. For $9 I should've just bought another pair, so that's my own fault. I'm buying another set of these though, they did exactly what I needed em for. Also, I've tried a couple of other pads under $30 and these were by far the most comfortable and durable (ironically). ... show more

I got these because I feel goofy wearing all my serious pads to onewheel to run a quick errand. They fit right under my pants with no problem I barely notice them. As far as them moving around I just pull up on them from the outside of my pants every so often they don't slide down bad at all. Fortunately for me unfortunately for testing the product I have not fallen while wearing them yet. I don't expect them to avoid injuries all together but I do feel like it would lessen the blow at the least especially at low speeds. I have mtb pads for when I push myself on trail rides and stuff but these are nice for crushing around. My go to "better than nothing" knee pad. ... show more

I like the color and the comfort this pads give. However, mine was highly used by someone. The elastic bands to keep the pads in place are in bad shape and very stretched out.

I am actually using this as a goalkeeper. I decided to get padded compression shirts at the end of spring because I injured my ribs. This fits great and is more comfortable than my addidas ironskin. The ironskin slides around too much. This fits a little more snug.
