Bought this for my 3 year old son. An excellent compliment to his room. Assembly instructions are very easy to follow. There are only 2 types of pieces to connect everything really, a Phillips head “grabber” screw and those round circles that grab the shelves. 95% of the pieces are both of those, so building this is pretty simple. It’s also pretty sturdy, and weight distributes well. I like the extra space to either use as a bench or put toys/stuffed animals up. The cushion is comfortable. I am 150 pounds and sat on it just fine, so a 25-70 pound child should have no issues. Shipped at a respectable time but could be a bit quicker. Overall for the money, this is a great purchase :) ... show more

This unit is the perfect addition to a small bedroom or, in our case, playroom. It takes up little space, but has convenient cubbies for storage. For the price, this is a great find! It is important to note that the cubbies are much deeper than they are wide, so I haven’t found any baskets that fit it well yet. The cushion isn’t the most padded (about an inch of foam), but I do plan to replace the cushion soon. Assembly was a bit of a pain (about 1.5 hours doing it solo) and the order the directions had you go really required a lot of floor space at a time (ie. Install/prep all of screw A in all 7 boards before moving on to attaching any boards together or screw B). If you have a very small space to work in, I recommend assembling it elsewhere and then moving it in place. Other reviewers noted a strong chemical smell. We did not have that issue. Not sure if we were just lucky or if they’ve since solved that issue. All in all, it is a simple and cute solution to a small space. I got 2 for the kids play room and we love them! I placed the order on the 27th, Expected delivery was January 5-10, and we received them today (December 30). Great quick shipping:) instructions were clear and assembly was quick and easy, about an hour and a half to put both together. For reference, my average sized 8 year old fits comfortably on the bench and I don’t worry about it breaking, it’s very sturdy. I can’t wait to put it in there and set them up! ... show more

This nook holds bins full of shoes, books, and clothes. (The bins don’t come with the nook) No problems putting it together. Took me about 20-30 minutes.

    • Terrible smell but great customer service

I’m so sad that this product does not seem to be working for me. When it arrived and we opened it it had an extremely strong chemical smell. I left the pieces outside for 12hours and then wiped them all with vinegar before assembling. After I put it in my daughters room the smell was so bad it burned our throats. So we left it in the garage for a week, wipes it with Lysol wipes, rinsed it with water, and finally sprinkled baking soda on it and left that there for days. Because the product is good quality and very cute we really want it to work. Today I brought it inside and after 10mins yes could smell that same smell STILL!! in the air around it. I now have it outside since the snow finally melted. It’s in the sun but I think this is our last try. I’m sad because it’s perfect for us but the smell is absolutely awful and unbearably strong. I will update this review if we are successful in removing smell. EDIT: left it outside for another week and while it’s better it’s still bad. We have had nothing but prompt responses and good interactions with this company so they get more stars haha but the product unfortunately is unusable for us. ... show more
