The only reason I didn't give the product a higher rating is that the part that connects to the original faucet has a fixed nut so the locking nut for the arm will only end up on one side, I wanted it to face the other direction.

As others have said, it doesn't swivel, so if you don't get it tightened just right then it bends an awkward angle. Installed correctly it works great, and is pretty sturdy as well

Purchased the HOTEL shower extension and new shower head for our son's condo. The old shower head was too low for a 6ft adult. My son had to duck underneath it. The HOTEL extension arm was easy to install. I did use plumbers tape on the thread to ensure no leaks. I did need a pipe wrench to remove the old shower head, and to properly install the arm and new shower head. Don't forget to use the plumbers tape so it doesn't leak. Very pleased with the shower head and extension arm. The total cost was $30 and less than half an hour of my time. Great products!!! ... show more

Had tub removed in favor of walk in shower for my wife. Guess what? Once tub removed wife could no longer reach hand held shower head. This corrected it perfectly! You can raise or lower shower head by 10" up or down! No tools! Could not be any easier! We luv it.

    • Cannot Utilize Full Socket Depth

The arm itself is very well made. However, the arm cannot be screwed on using the full depth of the socket on the arm, because upon bottoming out, the arm winds up being at a ridiculous, way-off angle in relation to the existing shower arm and the head that you want to attach to it. I had to back the extension arm out too much in my opinion. There are no leaks, as I used plenty of thread tape, but the fact you can't screw the extension arm on all the way without it being at a stupid, unusable angle is no good. ... show more
