In love with this duvet cover! I sweat at night constantly and decided to give bamboo bedding a try. I was honestly skeptical for this price point/comments about wrinkling/lack of reviews... I've never felt something more cloud like and cozy (yet cool to the touch, and soft without that microfiber feel). This makes my down comforter feel like straw paper. I'm not embellising. I use the duvet cover on my Target brand thin down-alternative comforter for perfect fit (90x90). Took a few days out of the wash/dryer to get to this "broken in" soft feel. High quality, beautiful seam work, zipper closure. Looks like hotel bedding. Generates comfortable, cool atmosphere under my comforter- whereas I normally get hot with a regular cotton duvet. I've had zero issues with mine coming out wrinkley from the dryer. Cotton is way worse. I followed the proper laundering rules... (1) Wash on cool, gentle cycle, 1/4 normal detergent. I also added in Lysol Laundry Sterilizer (since cold water doesn't kill germs). (2) Light fabric softener (With "Extra Rinse" feature on. (3) Threw into dryer on Medium heat with one Bounce sheet. (4) Took immediately out of dryer once done (like an hour). Highly recommend! ... show more

I love it. I am a hot sleeper, and I sleep with two little radiator dogs. So I get hot and can’t sleep and get very angry. I have paired with a summer duvet and also a chilipad, 10mg Lexapro and I sleep so wonderfully. BUT the other day, the boyfriend spilled coffee on it and I almost murdered him from blind rage. So I had to use a different blanket instead, and it was not nearly as comfortable I woke up in the middle of the night angry as hell, even the lexapro didn’t help.     • Rich, Burgundy Color and Soft, but NOT 100% Bamboo
If I'm wrong so be it, but I'm a bedding snob. S.N.O.B. As a hot and sensitive-skinned sleeper, I swear by 100% Bamboo. I know it's wrinkly, but I can live with wrinkles. I can't live without good sleep. I was super excited to receive this duvet set to go with my new weighted bamboo cooling blanket. However, after running my fingers on the fabric - still within it's packaging - I could easily tell this is a bamboo mix. It's soft. It's satiny. But not so much bamboo. And definitely not cool. My fingers alone were getting warm as it felt like air is 'trapped' within the fibers. I had my husband give me a second opinion in the event my senses were off, but he (begrudgingly) agreed (because that would mean that he has now turned into a bedding aficionado as well) that it was not 100% bamboo. He felt the heat retention as well. And then I compared it with other 100% bamboo bedding items I already owned and this duvet did not feel the same. I just received another bamboo duvet set from another brand/vendor (unfortunately, just a plain taupe - not a stunning, deep burgundy like this one), and it feels like 100% bamboo. Update 11/14/20 I washed the original defective and the replacement. The original set (cover & pillowcases both) unraveled even more and produced such a huge amount of lint that my dryer was overflowing with it! The replacement cover washed fine, no lint, no tears or threads unraveling. However the fit is a bit off and my comforter slides down inside. Yes, I used the ties. Mostly a big disappointment along with the fact that I got, after somewhat pushing for it, a replacement of the duvet cover only roughly shoved into such a small envelope, without any other type of packaging or protection, that it split open in mail and the actual cover was exposed. Since I couldn’t wash it in hot water sanitizing this was an issue the way it was sent to me. Yes, the fabric feels and looks nice but still a very bad experience for me. Waiting to see how it holds up. Update: The material feels soft & I did get a partial replacement although I haven’t washed it yet. I received the duvet cover only (no pillowcases) and it was stuffed into a too small mailer poly envelope without any protection. The cover did not come in a plastic packaging or anything at all to keep it protected nor was it a bubble mailer and it had been squeezed in too tight. The mailer had split open in transit. There was also a mysterious coil of black thread which I thought was hair at first but thankfully turned out to be thread. Not sure why there was black thread. I didn’t even check stitching anymore because for me there is no point. Customer Service was ok although I felt I had to somewhat force the replacement so not great experience. Original review: I just received this today, took out of package and it’s shocking how many loose threads and whole sections of unraveled stitching there is. I contacted the seller and the first reply I got is not promising in that they suggested it is normal and that if tears or holes develop there is a 90 day warranty. If this is the condition of a brand new product I’m not excited to trust in a 90 day warranty. I sent these photos showing different sections and waiting for a reply. Hoping this is defective product and not the norm or I may be returning to Amazon. As of now I am ordering a few other brands to compare. So far this is 0/5 and I will not recommend this brand or product. And the worst is I didn’t even take photos of all the loose threads. ... show more
