The product, a playset designed for excitement and fun, has received generally favorable feedback from customers who purchased it primarily for children, noting their delight and engagement with the toy. However, there are mentions of some drawbacks such as noise and the need for frequent battery replacements, which slightly tarnish the overall experience.

  • 🚀 Compatible with other tracks, allowing for expansive setups.

Cons

  • 🔊 Can be extremely loud, potentially disturbing.

Should I Buy It?

If the joy and amusement of the child receiving this playset are your primary considerations, and if you are prepared for the additional maintenance like battery replacement, it might be a worthwhile investment. However, for those seeking a quiet or low-maintenance toy, it might be best to look elsewhere.

  • Wow - a great fun track
Style: Playset
Wow - This track set offers plenty of track and features for the money. Different configurations are possible and it's relatively straight-forward to set-up although the instructions to set it up could be better and it could also offer clearer instructions for different set-ups. But that's a minor complaint given the sheer fun of this track. It requires 4 'C' batteries (we use rechargeable ones) and the booster is just about powerful enough to push the cars along the loops. The cars don't come off half way round the loop - but this depends on the cars being used. There are many Hot Wheels cars that can't be used with this due to their weight as they're too heavy but most of the light to medium weight cars will work. I also like the easy to pull apart track joiner pieces which have a 'button' in the middle for easy release so that you, or your child, can take it apart quickly. We set it up in about 5 minutes and we played for an hour as soon as we received it. What more can you ask of a toy these days! Good bang for your buck. ... show more

  • Great hot wheels gift!
Style: Playset
This was the best gift for Christmas given to my 5 year old. He is still playing with it almost a month later and that’s at least something! Easy to put together. Nothing broken so far and he’s pretty rough with his toys. Only negative I’d have to say is the battery operated feeder devise is somewhat noisy. Other than that, no complaints. He loves it! ... show more

  • Fun Track, Expandable with other Hot Wheels Tracks
Style: Playset
It's called Turbo Takeover, but it should be called Living Room Takeover. This track is so cool. I never had anything like this when I was a kid. Our Hot Wheels tracks were just long, straight pieces that we would tape to the stairs and eventually try to use as swords. The batteries seem to last a long time, but kind of run out of that real turbo power after not much time. That might not be a fair statement, though because on X-mas morning my kid drove us nuts with that thing. It's loud, but as fun as the chickens... I mean dickens. The loops have little boosters to help the cars get up and around. For younger users, keep an eye on the little boulders (included) so that your toddler/child doesn't insert them into a subwoofer. One note: Longer Hot Wheels and/or Matchbox cars will kind of get stuck going around the sharper corners. The car that comes with it shoots around great. It's also possible to make an endless loop so all you really have to do is put the car on the track and play with it the most lazy way possible. My son likes to play "Gridlock" which means all the cars go on the track and get stuck. He even makes little honking noises. ... show more

  • Great gift for those who like Hot Wheels
Style: Playset
I bought this for my grandson for his birthday, he loves it. You can set it up in many ways and has a couple accelerators to keep The cars moving on the track. Wish I had this when I was a kid. I also bought additional track so that he can make it as long as you wanted or with all the curves and loops he wanted. He really enjoys it and that's what matters! ... show more

  • It makes hot wheel cars hum. . .
Style: Playset
As usual, the assembly is a scramble and you need 4 c batteries which i didn't pick up on. But when we got it together, we had such fun as it pushes the hot wheel cars down the track at cool speeds. My 5 year old grandson was delighted. Interestingly enough so was the two year old. We hooked it to other tracks and had even more fun. ... show more

  • Missing hotwheel, box busted, all pre-assembled
Style: Playset
Bought a used , very good condition one , when it arrived the box is busted and the hot wheel is actually missing. Kinda upsetting. The whole point of getting a used one for us is not about the 2 dollar saving, it’s so we don’t have to buy new for the artisanal carbon footprint, but the missing hot wheel is kinda upsetting. It appears that the previous buyer , bought it and played it for a while and decided to return for money back or something ... show more
