I used to buy the Walmart brand Mainstays votives to burn in my fireplace. Last year they were so sooty! So I purchased these candles and I'm glad I did! They burn so clean! And in the votive holders they burn for 10+ hours! I can light them in the morning and some will still be burning at bedtime! Look at the votive holder on the left and see how dirty it is- that was from the Walmart votives last year! I've already burned 6 candles down in the votive holder on the right! It's still clean! Ivory candles are not ivory they are beige. I was expecting off white . I don’t like to leave a negative review but I was asked. The price is very agreeable so if they are placed in a candle holder that doesn’t show the true color they work well

I purchased this brand a number of times. The current box of candles are mostly defective which is agribating. The candle does not fully burn. I'm tossing out 3/4 of the candle. About 30 to 60 minutes into burning the wick disappears. Despite my efforts to cut it down or dig out the wick, i cannot get it to light again. I have to throw it away and light a new one. This is the worst batch of candles that I've ever used. I will not purchase again and will not recommend this brand. I feel ripped off. ... show more
