This is for the hlg 225 although I also have 6 hlg 3&4k panels in this tent and one cheaper light in the center that is brighter but not as safe imo without a meanwell driver, so it's getting replaced next week. Sorry that was wordy. Back to the light, it's amazing and has given my buds some extra growth and trichromes this time around. They run a lot warmer than the regular panels and some form of heat removal via fans and ducts or an AC in your tent like mine is highly recommended. These are a few dollars more than I would like to spend but they are worth it if you want to get better penetration through dense canopy. I use to butcher my plants up to compensate for dim lighting but there is not as much of a need to do that now. I left them bigger with more branches all over and they seem to be as developed at the bottom as they are at the top. Great lights, get some. ... show more

Its seems brighter than my 315 cmh. Using it as a vegg light in a 5x5 space. The heatsink on the light itself gets pretty hot, but the light doesn't add much heat to the space. Nothing close to what the cmh light did. Its a little pricey though. Only reason I got this light it because I am running out of usable watts in my house and that like is 100+ watts less to run than my 315 cmh. ... show more

They do run a little warm but most of them do. So far I am extremely satisfied with the performance of this light. The only issue if you want to call it that is how the light hangs and most of the weight is on one end so it wants to flip on its side.

This is my second one of these lovely lights! The first ones reflector was painted silver and the new one just has a semi transparent white one that doesn’t do anything but look like a frosted light bulb. Good job Karen the inspector at HLG who put her sticker on my light

This light is great, but gets HOT. If HLG could do the same things less the heat. They would be the best.

As soon as I took the light out of the box, a screw that holds the driver fell out. No nut in the box. Kinda shoddy work for a $300 light........I own 6 various other HLG lights and am usually satisfied with the workmanship, I mean considering the price for a light.

Love it, it’s like having a tiny sun in your tent!! I own a PAR/PPFD meter and at 18 hrs 20inches I get 1,200 PPFD!! It’s spreads out nicely.
