Summary: I chose this product because I wanted a nice, lightweight saddle and this looked like it may work. The fabric is beautiful, the choice of leather colors is stunning, the handle is wrapped nicely, and it is indeed very light weight. The overall saddle length is about 23" and the saddle seat measures about 16". When I pulled it out of the box, one of the metal accents was halfway pulled out. I was able to push it back in, but based on this, I don't expect those metal accents to last. All of the sewing is perfect except in a couple spots, where the white color shows. Unfortunately, no matter how hard I try, my eyes are constantly drawn to this imperfection. It does NOT include any rigging or stirrups, so you will have to purchase these separately, which will average you another $100+, depending on what you choose. The rigging rings would accommodate billets about 1.25" wide max. There are 3 rigging rings on each side, a double in the front for the girth and a single in the back for a rear cinch. Of concern is that the rigging rings have burrs on them and have already left marks/impressions on the underside of the leather. These burrs will compromise any billets you use with normal wear and tear, creating a safety hazard. You will either have to grind them down smooth or wrap them with something to cover the burrs. The skirt padding is very thin, so you will need a very good, thick, quality saddle pad. I really do not like giving bad reviews, but at the same time, I must provide an honest review and as such, I cannot recommend this product. Pros: - Beautiful colored fabric - Nicely wrapped handle - Extremely light weight - Leather is cut even all around - Most of the stitching is quality - Nicely stitched seat design Cons: - Does not come with the rigging or stirrups - Rigging rings have burrs on the metal - Skirt padding is very thin - Not a good value NOTE: - I would NOT use this saddle for jumping or for extremely long trail rides. - You will need a thick quality saddle pad as the skirt padding is extremely thin. - Saddle length is about 23" and saddle seat is about 16". - Rigging rings internal dimensions are about 1.25" wide. I ordered center fire rigging billets for this saddle, to accommodate the smaller double rings in the front and plan to use an English style girth. Star Removal Reasons: - One star was removed because it does not come with any rigging or the stirrups. I have never bought a saddle, especially western, that didn't include these items. - A second star was removed because of the overall quality. One of the accents arrived half pulled out, the saddle skirt padding is very thin, and the seat does not feel as though it would be comfortable on long rides, and definitely not for jumping as the product description claims. - Two more stars were removed because the rigging rings have burrs which will need to be grinded down or covered. If you don't, through normal use, the burrs will end up eventually cutting through or compromising any billets, creating a serious safety hazard.

The leather feels thick and supple right out of the box and the soft pads have a nice cushion that doesn't feel like it will bottom out during a long ride. All the hand stitching is tight and even around the edges and the metal hardware fits into the straps without any rough burrs or sticking. It provides a very secure seat while I am out on the trails and the weight stays balanced perfectly across the back of the horse. It is a well made saddle that looks much more expensive than it actually is and feels solid enough to last for years
