These are definitely so so frames. This is a definite time of quantity over quality for sure. The main seller for me was that the front isn't glass but plastic instead. Frames are kind of cheap in quality in both construction and quality assurance.

I was interested in setting up a gallery wall in my home and the HORLIMER 8x10 Picture Frame Set seemed to fit my needs. It comes with 15 frames, all packed securely in the box. The frame border is light, but I can't tell if it is plastic or pressed wood of some sort and the glass is actually a thin plexiglass. The frame includes vertical or horizontal wall mounting brackets and has a built in stand. If for some reason you need your picture frames to withstand an gale force winds or stowage in the the back of an off-roading jeep, these may not be for you, but if you're like 99% of the world and just want to mount these on a wall or stand them up on a shelf, these frames will do the job. ... show more

If you are looking for high quality, you will not find it at this price range. However, these are a great value, and among the cheapest I've found for this range. The acrylic window means you get the gloss without the weight. It can easily scratch though, so don't remove the protection until you are ready to display! The frames look all right on the wall. They won't fool anyone into thinking they are expensive, but they blend into the background which is perfect for basic home decor. There is space for a thin mat. This frame used 4 metal prongs and theoretically can be used without the acrylic if needed. There can be a sliver of white showing in the seam at the corners. if this bothers you, you can use a black crayon to fix it to be less noticeable. ... show more
