The product is great. I've had it installed now in a hot (120deg F) DI-water tank with no signs of corrosion. The only problem i had was during installation when they kept leaking. Initially thought the gaskets were not sealing, but it turned out to be leaking (dripping) though the lock nut threads. A little Teflon paste took care of that. ... show more

I can't speak on the seals etc not leaking whereas I've not used it yet. I purchased this to upgrade to a larger thermometer in a steam pot. It came with a nut , 2 washers, & 2 gaskets. Exactly what I needed. It showed up a day early. What can I say? So far so good.
