It holds Rifle steady to mount scope. Be nice to have tilt adjust. It just clamps. Got use levels as you tighten. Got trays that hold Levels, Allen wrench, storage spots. Maybe the twice cost Gun Vise would tilt if not that be waste of money. Which it seems like it was so I bought this. Not much help with Pistols. To clean it was good enough. ... show more

    • Get's the job done
I would have thought this would have been a bit beefier but it works well. Used it for mounting a scope and for cleaning. It's nice and light and while I don't think it will break.... it does feel a bit cheap. Price was right so we'll see how it does.

When I go to clean my pew pews I clamp them into this. Holds them steady for disassembly and cleaning. Doesn’t scratch my pews, has little pocket shelves on base that holds screws.

You might see a gun vice for a lot more money but thats all it is, a lot more money. This vice does the same thing. Weather your cleaning your gun or bore siteing it, this is all you need. A great vice for a great price

    • Works fine for what I wanted it to do.
It's not a gun vise. It's meant to hold your gun still while you're cleaning or mounting a scope, or, why I really wanted it, to leather wrap the levers on a couple of lever actions.
