Great charger ,bought a 2nd one after trying it out,can't believe the ease of this charger and surprised the aren't on backorder,charges fast and gives individual cell voltages. Compact , nothing negative about this charger to say!!! Totally worth the price.

Very straight forward and easy to use charger. You can set every parameter needed to safely balance charge, discharge, etc., etc. The versatility of AC and DC power inputs makes running your hobby grade RC's that much easier out in the field. I definitely recommend a set of alligator clips for hooking to a 12v car battery. It also boosts the chargers power to 750 watts. 15 amps per channel of charging power is handy as well. Not to mention the ability to use a parallel cable to get a total of 26 amps on a single charging channel. It will safely balance charge a 5200mah 2S battery in under 30 minutes. It has more features than other similarly priced units,and it comes equipped with 2 sets of each of the most common connectors. Dean's T, EC3, and EC5 (Spektrum IC5). Honestly for the price, you really can't beat it.

Great charger and easy to use. Had another charger with a touch screen and caused a fire in my home. This charger has been easy to use and charges my batteries with ease. Highly recommend!

I've tried 3 different chargers. This one is by far my favorite! It can discharge faster than my other chargers, has the best interface, and has the best footprint (small and not clunky). I have a B6 V2 type charger that works great, but clunky due to its external AC adapter. I also had a Viper duo charger (returned due to fan noise right out of the box) that was decent, but doesn't compete with the interface. The viper also discharged only at 1A (even though manual said 2A). This Gens Ace can discharge at 3A. I couldn't be happier! The one thing I overlooked was that this guy requires XT60 connectors and doesn't use banana connectors, so all of my other charging cables are useless for this specific charger. I built some of my own cables by being ends and soldering them myself, just to have longer cables. I use the Batt-Safe, so you'll want longer cables if so.

Ok, I know “budget” is a relative term, since this charger is still $140, but this has all the features you would want in a lipo battery charger. It’s smart, which means that it monitors the battery voltage and automatically stops when the battery is full so you won’t burn your house down(not just saying that, if you way overcharge any battery it will burst into flames, which studies show isn’t good for your health). It also has a discharge, storage, and a few more modes. Discharge, obviously, completely drains the battery and storage drains the batteries to about 80% of their maximum capacity, which reduces the deterioration of the battery cells and preserves battery life. Generally this is somewhere around. 3.8 volts per cell. The charger has a good default storage voltage but you can change it if you’d like. It also automatically detects the number of cells in any battery you plug in, which makes it both safer and more convenient. As far as noise, it has a cooling fan that runs while the charger is in operation, but it’s not that loud, and it beeps when it’s done which is handy too. Overall, I’m very happy with my charger. It’s one minor downside is that at first the buttons were a little confusing to figure out, but it’s really super simple. Left button cycles between the left and right battery, right button selects whichever it’s on, and the top and bottom buttons are for navigating menus. I got this as my first charger when I got into FPV drones, and it’s good enough that I don’t think I’ll ever have to buy an upgrade.

probably the best unit for the price....but In general, these chargers are needlessly confusing. This one is only slightly better than others at 1/2 the price. The smart chargers and batteries are too expensive. C'mon. Dumb it down so we can charge up and go. Sheesh!
