With home confinement, we decided to try this Milk Powder! It is just superb! It tastes way fresher than the store bought cold milk. This milk powder is made directly from fresh milk at the farm, where as store bought cold milk travels for while before being shelved in the super market. This powder milk tastes as delicious as fresh milk one would get on a farm. I recently made a batch of yogurt using this powder milk, and the yogurt tasted so European: very flavorful, thick, fragrant. We are never buying cold milk from the supermarket anymore. From this company, Hoosier Hill Farm, we have also bought powder butter and cheese, and they are excellent for baking, and again the baked goods are way tastier. We would highly recommend. Also, there is no waste as we just make the amount of milk we need. Refrigerating the gallons of milks from the supermarket is also costly! Okay, so I have some non-fat dry milk and it works for what I use it for, but the last time I wanted to make a smoothie, I had frozen strawberries, non-fat dry milk and cool, filtered water. Sounds really healthy, right? It was, but it just didn't taste as good...so I bought this whole milk powder and oh man, did that make the difference! See, I live by myself and buying liquid milk is wasteful as I rarely can use even a smaller container of milk before it goes bad. So powdered milk makes sense to me. Non-fat powdered milk is easy to pick up anywhere and when I happen to be at the grocery store, I grabbed a small container of it. Personally, I like having both, but I can tell you from a taste perspective, this dried whole milk is awesome! It also blended into the water more easily than the non-fat dried milk - not sure why, but it does. So if you like smoothies and never seem to have any liquid milk on hand, take the plunge and buy this - so worth it! ... show more

The first time I used this, I was making mashed potatoes. The powder stirred in to the warm water easily (I was doing instant potato flakes) and the finished product was really good (better than instant potatoes usually are). I felt the milk powder gave it a creamier taste. However, I tried to stir some into a glass of water one night to make some chocolate milk and couldn't get the powder to dissolve. And there was no guide on how much to use to make a glass or pitcher, etc. So, for those reasons, I haven't used much of it yet. ... show more

I have order this milk since Feb due to my IBS-D issues it had great taste so much so that I eat it by the spoonful everyday. Just right after the pandemic started the manufacturer seem to have cheap out the materials used to make this milk and now the disgusting taste and aftertaste texture is appalling, contacted the manufacturer, Amazon and even Walmart with no resolution as to why it the taste has changed or why it has not been taken out of the shelves. If you like NIDO powder milk which is what this milk taste like now by all means buy it but if you don't (like me) then don't waste your money. ... show more

    • smells awful terrible to drink okay for some types or baking

This powder was disgusting it smelled awful. When I opened the container the smell that came out was just awful. Still I took some and mixed it with water it wasnt mising but turning into really hard clumps so to see if it would mix better or melt better or blend better I heated the water and nothing would get this powder to blend it kept accumulating at the bottom so finally after stirring it for about an hour and then realizing that it was still accumulating on the bottom in clumps I took out my blender put it in the blender and mixed it literally without sropping for about 5 minutes straight and then it finally mixed and even then the next morning when I opened the fridge still there were some accumulation at the bottom of the container so it doesn't mix properly. I threw the mixture away and went to the store and bought myself some regular milk the rest of the powder I have been using for baking I would not recommend this to drink ... show more

I usually buy the Nido milk powder but it wasn't available. This milk does not dissolve well at all despite vigorous shaking. It looks and tastes like water with clumps of milk powder floating in it. I tried to request a refund but it is not possible on this product. Plus it's more expensive than Nido. I don't know what we're even going to do with it. ... show more
